Well, that was an eventful and stressful three months on the carrier. Quarantining. Sleepless nights spent carefully planning courses of action. Executing practice missions. Getting the strike group ready for deployment. Now I’m home for a couple of months before heading overseas for a year. Time to catch up on what’s been happening in the world. Let’s see what’s been going on....

Yeah, probably.
I think staying Aboard would have been the smarter Idea, though Least you only have a few months state side before redeployment so it could be worse!

Seriously. I thought I was going to come back to a “ Last Ship” scenario, and instead it’s worse. Apocalyptic-lite I can deal with just fine. But this? It’s all just too tragic.

It is, but it’s a sad fact that something like this was a long time coming. You can only push people towards the cliffs edge for so long before they choose to push back.
