Dangit man, why'd I have to go and do that to them?
And by that I mean, why did they have to do and do that to themselves. As much as letting my characters control my story is an awesome way of getting real flow and legitimate reactions, it does make things a bit more complicated to write, especially when things like broken trust is involved.
Two days since I've gotten back from holiday, and I find it hard to get back into the habit of animations and story writing! Arrrrgh!
Some of it may have something to do with my mom getting her new puppy Chihuahua - which I must admit is a right adorable little scamp and absolutely lovable - but it's probably just trying to get back into that routine.
It is July everypony, my favorite month and my birth month. Now its time for me to tell you what I am doing for this month. Well, this month will be really busy for me as I have my classic chapters to post as well as the final parts of the War Anthologies and much more stuff.

Groups are hands-down one of the best ways to get an audience on here. Even if you have notifications turned off for when people initially spam stories, your story will still stay in the group. FIMFiction has always been good about having story categories be precise genres instead of an absolute clusterfuck of tags like derpibooru (especially considering tags that would be normal there become subjective as hell when applied to stories and stories on here aren't moderated to the degree images

Lately, I have been going through various complete entries in Missing Pages that were too short to publish. I decided that "Just Weep" shouldn't be left to gather dust there. I've since published it as its own story with the addition of eight new poems about Celestia (and Luna) so that it is long enough to count as a one-shot according to the site's minimum wordcount rule. Okay, so the bad part about having too many stories (like that's even possible) is that I can miss notifications (or forget them by mistake) because, no, I do not get too many (really, detailed!comments and updoots and shit make my day) but there are times when I can get quite a bit (rare) but other times, I sometimes won't get them at all.

Might as well make another blog about this story if there's more than 700 of y'all who might see it. It's the only story that's been updating semi-frequently lately and for good reason. Aside from what I've been writing for contests (and that one chapter for Distance, the majority of what I've been posting has been stuff from the backlog. That feels nice, too!
I am safe. 2018 has come and I am safe. In the nick of time, I finally found a new place to live. Found the room on January 4th and signed the contract, along with hoofing over the deposit, on January 9th and now, after lots of stress with moving, I am sitting here in my new room.
So I spent most of the day looking at reenactment stuff, which is definitely something I have a problem with. I want to spend way too much money. Basically, whenever my unit sends out a call asking for people to do something, if I don't have it, I look into buying it.
Basically, I almost just bought a service uniform like the one below before I even got my field uniform squared away, with a major D-Day event in Ohio coming up in August, which I still need to get $600+ in gear for.
