Announcement: I'm gonna be a Community Guest for Ponyville Ciderfest 2023! · 11:09pm Oct 23rd, 2023
I've been waiting to share this one!
You read that right, you're old pal Nyronus is getting honored as a Community Guest this year for Ponyville Ciderfest!
(I also have a ponysona now, courtesy of Vivid Syntax and Bright Sight. It is very cool.)
Of course, this all naturally means I'm gonna be there at Ciderfest this year, and I want see you there!
The con is gonna be on the 17th of November, and if you wanna come and see me there, registration is still open! Of course, you shouldn't come just for me (as flattering as that would be) - we have a whole ton of great stuff planned, not least of which is the Storytelling Adventure itself! A whole lot of great authors worked on that (myself included!) and I really want you all to see it. Aside from that, there are a ton of other cool community guests like MintyRoot and Somber. We're gonna have a great concert with artists like Koa and Princewhateverer. We're gonna have a bookstore! And let me tell you, we've got some great titles on selection. I'm real excited for those to get into the hands of fans. We even have our own book! Which I wrote multiple stories for! Which you can preorder on the same page where you get your tickets! Plus all the general coolness of a con with Guests of Honor from the show staff, and panels from all over the community.
Not to mention cons are just a great place to hang out and catch up with your horse friends in person!
Of course, we need all the help we can get running this, and you can chip in. We need volunteers! This con is about celebrating the writers in the community, and I really want to see it be the best it can be, so if you want to help, I would be more ecstatic.
(Plus, if going to the con might be a hair too expensive for you, volunteers get free badges and a discount on room rates.)
I am honored to be granted this position, and extremely excited for you all to see all the work we've done bringing this con together. I would love to see all of you there. So please, if you can, come on out and join in on the adventure we've all created!

And I'm very much expecting to be there and looking forward to it! Very hopefully there won't be any unexpected problems interfering with it (last year, for instance, I got sick right before the con and recovered just barely in time for it -- while that's better than recovering too late, I'm really hoping I won't be getting sick at all in association with the con this year).

After having been anticipating it IIRC since before I'd even gotten home from PVCF22, it feels kind of unreal it's less than a month away now. :D
