I see many things on the horizon.
...other than gaudy colors.
No, no, not that horizon! I mean fic forecasts! Specifically, I have several things burning right now, and one or two on fire. My Twistyle checklist:
The kind and generous hawthornbunny went to the trouble of word-clouding my stories. This has led me to a most unusual discovery.
First off, here's the word cloud for all of my stories together:
NOTE: This schedule is temporary and subject to change. College will be starting back up soon for me, so delays are possible.
I've been idle a bit, but I'm almost free of responsibilities for the year. That means there will be stories and projects again soon, yay!
Now, in the spirit of EatTurkeyUntilYouPeeNeonYellowRazorGravyFromYourAnus Day (it's a USA thing, don't worry about it), here are the "recent locations" on my desktop:
I have no clue what most of these places are.
I was browsing my past stories, in that narcissistic way I do. Given the title, it's probably no surprise which story I stuck on.
Exploitative sex, basically. Well, alright, there are a lot of things that creep me out, but the idea of a sort of cruel and thoughtless lust masquerading as love but showing itself as possession and greed, on the one hand, and a vile exploitation on the other... Whee. I'm not 100% sure why I felt compelled to include the sex part at all here, save, perhaps, as contrast to the Safe, Sane, and Consensual love that's a part of the swelling royal herd. None of the mares would permit any
I am putting a freeze on pretty much everything as I tackle something absolutely amazing headlong.
Yea, behold! Mine hindquarters!
Actually, I fear it isn't related to Luna's butt.
Hopefully I can finish this project quickly. I'm going to be spending eight hours a day doing it until it's done. Seriously.
You'll be surprised.

Applying Research to Pastel Ponies
I am going to be working my ass off tomorrow, then in for surgery on Tuesday.
During recovery, my first three priorities are to finish off Broken Symmetry, to update Twilight's Secret Journal, and to rewrite Colors.
Hey guys!
Just wanting to give a quick update on what's going on with some of my stories going forwards. With Change: Queen of the Hive over with, some of you may be expecting me to start Change: Avia right away. However, I think I'm going to wait a bit before diving into that, if only so I can take a break from writing it and come back eager to go. This also gives time for the person I've commissioned the cover art from to return from their break and crack on with it.
With apologies, there will be no new story chapters from me for a while, either on Firefly or Nightmare Night. Why? Several reasons. First, my motivation level for new writing hit zero this week. This is due to a combination of factors, not the least of which is a heavy workload in the form of a must-finish software development project and a nixed vacation because of it. I was supposed to be off to Las Vegas next week to play some poker, but that's now delayed by at
I'm dealing with more depression than usual, which is again delaying my One Hoof Clopping updates.
I'm pondering removing the M/W/F update schedule note, but still planning to aim for M/W/F updates.
The process of writing is as subjective as the product. Sometimes, however, hearing about the creative process of others can be interesting. It might help one consider things that you had not. It might give one insight into one’s own creative process. It might reaffirm why one does things the way they do.
For today’s blog post, I’d like to discuss scheduling and time management.
Well, it’s Wednesday! And here I am with the promised Being a Better Writerpost! Plus, as you can likely guess, I survived the MRI of my knee! Now I’m just waiting for the doctor to give me a call and let me know what’s up.
Something incredible has happened.
I may have found a treatment to knock out both my myofascial pain and crippling depression.
It's totally like, y'know. Right? Yeah mare.
The Signal Boost:
Anypony who’s interested in either offering a book for sale at the Bronycon bookstore or buying one later if at all possible, go read this and do the survey thingy. I’ll wait for you to get back!
EDIT: apparently the survey thingy isn’t functional yet, but you should still rush off and bookmark the group if you’re interested in books.
Well well well, seems the apprentice was right.
Today is a great day, my union has sent the letter to tell my bosses to stick their bullsh!t up their rear end!
Just wanted to let everyone know that in the first half of the month, I'm going to start a revamp of The Lawyer and The Unicorn, giving it the same attention and treatment I gave Turnabout Storm last year. That means edits, cleanup, fixes, and even the possibility of some new content.
Oh my God I can't believe that it's been over two years since I last updated and for that I'm sorry. So for anyone that is still around I'll be doing an update about some stories that I currently have planned. Now I first want to say that I am going to be going back and writing more Chapters for A Game for the Whole Family and Storytime. Both these stories I
