The Delays Will Continue Until Morale Improves · 1:19pm May 12th, 2018
I'm dealing with more depression than usual, which is again delaying my One Hoof Clopping updates.
I'm pondering removing the M/W/F update schedule note, but still planning to aim for M/W/F updates.
I'm not sure why the sads are attacking, though there are several things changing around me that may be related. Two of my closest local friends are moving away (to Sweden!) and my circle of friends locally is not nearly as strong as it used to be, which is affecting my ability to recharge. I'm a lot like sad Pinkie that way: I used to be the life of the party, but life beat me down too much so I'm much more reserved these days. I'm also on some new meds that shouldn't affect mood, but who knows.
On the bright side, I'm trying a new depression treatment that has a chance of succeeding. Since they removed the neurostimulator implant they can now try transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) which is basically zapping your brain with magnetic pulses. It feels like somepony hitting you on the top of your head above your eye with a hammer every second for thirty minutes, which is not pleasant, but maybe it will help. I'll be doing that every weekday morning with a few exceptions over the next five weeks or so.
I've got some story stuff I'm working on but most of it requires me to be in a better mood to make progress. I don't think anything I have near completion is likely to be feature box material. Most of what I have to say at the moment isn't popular enough to be box bait. We'll see.

I understand. I just noted that conditioned on
probability of schedule becoming net negative contribution to fun (which is already kinda diminished) instead of net positive may raise significantly (and state of world where it doesn't raise is preferable). Although my specific knowledge is incomplete.
