Went home yesterday because I was too sick to do much more than lay there and be miserable at my friend's place. My sadist of an aunt had me use nose-spray meant to clear sinuses. I only remembered how much it burns after I used it. I'm am shortly going to leave on an adventure half way around the planet, and I am super excited. I am about to begin teaching English in Hong Kong. Okay, y'all know the drill by now. Story got posted, kind of petered out and fizzled. In fact, all my recent stories have been duds compared to my older work. I haven't had a big hit since Rumble's Big Day trilogy, though admittedly that got three stories featured in a row. That was two years ago now.

I'm trying to figure out potential ways to make Pony-Me, and by extension, My Own Reality more unique. Not simply by avoiding common cliches that are now solidly established by films such as The Matrix or Ready Player One, but by creating something that truly hasn't been done before in this category of science fiction.

I just posted the epilogue. It's a pretty important story to me, as it is one of the first ones I started writing when I started writing fanfic. Obviously, it took me a while. But I'm pleased with how it turned out! I think it works, it uses the universe well even though its 90% OCs, and I think I gave it a solid ending.

The current outline for the rest of the story has been written, and we have a good idea of what the third and last arch will look like plus the ending and epilogue.
