Christmas Plans · 8:59pm Dec 13th, 2020

Greetings mares and gentlecolts alike. :derpytongue2:

Just wanted to let you all know my plans for December.

As you know, the sequel to The Legend Of Nicholas has finally come out, and I work hard to get a chapter out every day, but of course that is not a guarantee. :fluttershysad:

Sorry Guys · 4:25pm Nov 12th, 2022

Heyo everybody.

I come with some bad news, well, kinda bad, and for some it is good news. Welcome Home Soldier will be delayed until next year, the reason is that I have a Christmas sequel I need to write, and I only have so much time to do it.

Still Here! · 10:12am Dec 18th, 2022

Heyo people!

Just wanted to let you know my stay is over, not on the site, but at the place I lived in. That is why I have not posted this week, been busy moving into my new flat, doing work, and get the whole place ready for today. :)

I haven't forgotten the story, or any others, but this is why I have no updated the story yet. Anyway, now that I have time again, I will continue. :)

Last Chapter Of The Year · 9:36am Nov 5th, 2020

Welcome Home Soldier is far from over.

But because I have to focus my efforts on my Christmas story for this year, chapter 9 will likely be the last chapter of the year. Depending on how much I get done and how much I can keep ahead of schedule, I might be able to release chapter 10 too, but no promises.

I Finally Found A Film I Hate! (Part 1) · 11:21pm Mar 5th, 2020

(Note: I'm interested in reviewing films in my spare time and this is going to be a long one. In fact, it might well be Part 1 of something. But it probably won't mean much to anyone not familiar with Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens or its adaptations. In that event, maybe you're just curious about why I'm worked up, maybe you consider it justice for me defending divisive stuff like the Disney remakes or Star Wars Sequel Trilogy or maybe you are genuinely interested in Dickens in which

I Finally Found A Film I Hate (Part 2) · 11:26pm Mar 6th, 2020

And we're back.
I'm here violently savaging a film you don't really care much about for really no-one's pleasure but my own.
You see how annoying it is from my perspective now?!
I kid...

Anyway.
So we're about a quarter through Nicholas Nickleby 2001 and have gotten past the Dotheboys School Saga and I feel virtually nothing.

Everything in order!

I'm back at the writing table, we have a lot to do, but I think we can do it! :rainbowwild:

Just need to write a special chapter for Welcome Home Soldier and then my focus will exclusively be on on the sequel to The Legend Of Nicholas! :pinkiehappy:

Take it away Spike! :moustache:

New Story: My Neighbor's War · 6:42pm Feb 13th, 2020

My Neighbor began as a simple story of a kind old man displaying common decency. He was a fully fleshed out character from the start, but at first I had no designs on writing multiple stories about him. After the warm reception My Neighbor and Mr. Arrow received, however, I scripted out several other short narratives to follow his interactions with the Apples and other EqG cast members.

Carol of the Day: Dec 6th · 11:55pm Dec 6th, 2019

Today's song a slight deviation. In honor of St. Nicholas day, we're going to look at "Zie Ginds Komt de Stoomboot", a Dutch song children sing as they welcome the arrival of Sinterklaas.

Translated as "Look, Here Comes the Steamboat", children sing about how Sinterklaas (St. Nicholas) is travelling from Spain his his horse and the Black Peter(s) to deliver presents to them.

In this sprawling, three hour recounting of the final years of the reign (and life) of Tsar Nicholas II, the final Tsar of Russia.

And suffice to say, I liked it.

Nicholas · 4:43pm Nov 20th, 2019

I'm really happy how my new mini story is turning out so far.

It's nice and cozy to write, and it is really fun. I have not forgotten about Fallen Knight or, King: The beginning. Though I want to release them during the weekends if I can. Get the chapters planned out more. Of course that is not a promise that they will be released there, but it is the best time for me to work on them and release them there.

December! · 9:23am Dec 1st, 2023

December has arrived!

And you know what time it is! That's right, it is time for my yearly Nicholas story! However, this year it will be a little different. A lot has happened this year, but things are going much better. Anywho, this year's story will not be like the two former. In this one, each chapter will be like a moment in time. So one chapter might be something as simple as a letter. Another could be Nicholas meeting Celestia and Luna, while another can be about the reindeer.

Note: This review was written yesterday, but FIMFic has been giving me trouble on my phone, so I'm posting it today.

So yeah, after much procrastination on my part, I finally watched George Miller’s incredibly insane and mind blowingly awesome return to his desert punk roots, Mad Max: Fury Road.

I Finally Found A Film I Hate (Part 3) · 10:30pm Apr 27th, 2020

Sorry I’ve been so absent for a while.:applecry:
This and that kept getting in the way (Those two are never satisfied)
And it’s a good time for a bit of binge-watching even if it’s not too pleasant. I’ll have to make time to watch the 2002 version later.

Okay, so...I’ve gone over it a couple of times and I was wondering if I should include a few good points.
I’ve already explained that the casting is misplaced and underutilised so I can’t include that.
