What Self-Improvement Strategies Have Worked For You or People You Know? · 4:13pm Apr 24th, 2020

How do I love and care about myself as much as I say I love and care about my friends? I want to stop disappointing myself so I stop breaking my mom’s heart, because she already lost her husband to shittyness, she doesn’t want to and can’t watch me squander my amazing potential on idle hedonism every single day year after year.

P.S: this extends to writing as well. Believe it or not, I would like to write more than just shitfics all the time.

I've been trying to get chapters for my fic out consistently, though I'm going to be taking a bit of a break in doing so. I haven't had the energy to write due to my mental state, but I'm taking steps to improve things. I'm also very excited to get the next chapter out once I'm through editing! I think it'll be enjoyable, and I'm pretty proud of it. Not super action-heavy, ((Granted my story hasn't been thus far)) but I think it has good character and story progression

I've been fucking depressed realizing how much the world's deteriorated in just the last three years. There used to be shit to do in my town. We used to have friends me and my brother would hang out with all the time. Halloween's probably dead permanently because of Covid. Fuck this shit dude. Anyway, here's Twilight and Spike during Halloween in 2000.

Illness vs. Sickness · 2:27am Jul 11th, 2020

I haven't been able to write (or do) hardly anything in months, even though I'm off during the Summer and stuck inside. At first I thought it was mental illness, but much of it's still physical, and I don't quite know where the separation twixt the two lies.

Also, the brony world appears to have descended into chaos.

Hey all,

I think I'm over-doing the whole NMM gets salvation shit. I've just been doing it too much, and I don't want all of my stories to follow the same character with the same issues. I've stigmatized mental hospitals and did little research. I apologize.

Now to why I made this post in the first place. Many people on here think that the suicide/dark/sad genre is getting annoying.

I have a few words on that.

Mental healthy update! <3 · 7:58pm Apr 11th, 2023

I'm starting a new medication, which will ideally help with my depression and anxiety! Also, it's supposed to pair well with my ADHD meds, so it'll also help with that a bit as well. Very exciting! I'm not looking forward to the transitional period, but there's little I can do about that. It'll be worth it if these meds end up helping me more.

Big Chapter, Big Themes. · 9:51pm Aug 2nd, 2022

First of all I'd like to thank Estee, some of her notes regarding her latest piece (Monster Girl In Equestria) really helped me gain a more critical eye over my own work. I certainly re-evaluated scenes and cut what felt like cliché content, some of which( in hindsight) just wouldn't have made sense with where this is going and what I want it to be.

Now, this chapter.

Another unpleasant experience in Discord · 1:16pm Sep 26th, 2022

After the admin let off some steam about their ableist manager on the venting channel, I sympathized with them, expressed my distaste towards ableists, and claimed that their manager is a Karen.

The admin told me not to make assumptions about people I don't know and claimed that their manager is nice but doesn't think clearly. Later, they kicked me out of the server.

It may be a bit late for Talk Like a Pirate Day, but after captaining Admiral Brass and crew to the top eight of me local prerelease, I be feeling saltier than a piece of hardtack soaked in sea spray. A VERY Simplified Comparison Between Influenza and Coronavirus Death Rates in the US · 4:40pm Mar 25th, 2020

Since it gets brought up a lot these days, I'd find it fascinating to know: how do these two viruses compare? Say, on death rates? What sort of numbers are we talking about here?

First, a few clarifications, and then the numbers themselves. Please note that all this is for casual purposes only: this is not an official analysis!

A Hearth’s Warming Understanding · 4:26pm May 15th, 2016

Well... season six, episode eight, A Hearth's Warming Tail, was a straight retelling of A Christmas Carol that, while pretty well executed (I love you, Luna), missed a HUGE opportunity to engage with the very real existence of people who are lonely or grieving over the holidays, have bad memories associated with Xmas, or otherwise have legitimate reasons not to join in with forced cheer.
