The early 2000's were a time of shitty horror movies with amazing soundtracks. Can we just go back to 2004? That'd be nice.
Mmmmmmm...tastes like my childhood~
My weekday mornings wouldn't be complete without me struggling to finish another episode of this show whilst being pulled out the door by my older brother (with the obligatory promise that I'd be able to watch Teletubbies at his BFF's house before school)! Ahhh...memories
“Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The Movie.”
I may now be a part if the mlp Fandom now. But here's a little something that is legendary in the sonic Fandom. Enjoy!
It's a strange feeling.
As I grew and matured I felt as though I had to reject all these small things that didn't quite fit in with others about myself.
It ate at me, took pieces of me I cherished, tore me apart and put me back together again. But it made me feel safer, more normal.
Due to my current story is taking place in S1, I'm going to rewatch certain episodes from S1 to S4 to familiarize myself with what occurred during those episodes. Other than that, I might start watching S7 now too later - I'll start by release date so I'll watch the movie, the EQG shorts, movies, and other related stuff. I'll also read the comics for the comic-based chapters.
1,103 episodes.
32 seasons.
31 years on the air.
Six production companies.
Aired on three separate networks.
One TV show.
March 11th, 1989 to May 11th, 2020.
I might be controversial in saying this, but may the TV show that I grew up with, COPS, rest in peace.
"Bad boys, bad boys, Watcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?"
Hey folks! It's been... a while. Like, a decade. And apparently people are still reading my fics from 2012-2013.
I was only 9 years old when I wrote basically all of these stories. I'm nearly 21 now.
Nostalgia. Who would say that such a harmless feeling would become a lucrative source?
In recent years the number of series and films that take advantage of a plot and characters that we know for years, made with the purpose of taking advantage of the feeling that is inside all of us: nostalgia.
Opening this set on my 4th birthday (and watching that movie every year on my birthday and on Christmas Eve
Having this car and riding all around the block to your friends houses
This was the first real experience with a bike (that lasted me about 6 months before I grew too big...at 3)
Nokia used to have these phones called the 3310s They were called candy bars cuz they were chunky little phones that didn't do much, had a funky ringtone and let you play snake.
They're just revived the model and updated it and damn if I'm not tempted to get one.
So I was digging through some old Pages files earlier, and I came across an interesting little bit of nostalgia...
The beginnings of the very first story I ever got serious about writing: The Lion King III: Best of Both Worlds.
Brace yourselves!:
Happy 10th Anniversary HSM!! Oh My GLOB!!! I can't believe it's been 10 years since the first "High School Musical" movie premiered!!! *squees and 8 year old fangirls* (because that's how old I was when the 1st one came on!)
This song, and so many more from the 2000s-2010s are literally my childhood.
And now I have a youtube playlist devoted entirely to recollecting them as I find them, just 'cause I don't exactly like very many of the songs that play on the radio nowadays. Too much rap and screaming into the mic.
I feel like I may have made a similar post for the 25th anniversary, yet I honestly can't remember right now. Anywho!
Original Release Date: June 15th, 1994
