With only his pack and his experience as a Boy Scout to aid him, he must survive, make sense of his surroundings and with some luck, ultimately find his way home. I have been reading fan fiction here for a while and wanted to give something back.
My first fiction ever so constructive criticism is welcome. Fair warning, it takes a while for me to write a chapter so expect gaps between updates.

Jessica finds herself flung into a world she has little concept of. Everything is strange and new to her, but worst of all she cannot communicate with the native inhabitants. A world of monsters and sapient ponies, griffons and other assorted beasts is no place for a human girl.

How will Jessica cope? Without an understanding of their language how will she make her way in the world, will she even be able to ever communicate with them? Why was she even brought into the world and is there even a way for her to get home?

Every day, she woke up feeling sadness. She felt that twinge of guilt, that dark cloud of depression follow her everywhere she went. The one day she didn't wake up feeling sad, she woke up being a survivor of Equestria's worst train accident in history. Was it destiny that she survived that crash? Is she destined for something more? And most importantly, will she accept the role that destiny has offered her.

This is a story of such things, a story of identity, about who we really are and how we discover that. But it's also about how the answer can show itself in the darkest of ways. And, most importantly, this story is about "Redemption."

Trained under the watchful eye of the man that ended a war brought about the land. Dante, a young man that was trained under Corvo Attano, the Lord Protecter, the Living Shadow, the Nightwalker. And many other names that were given to the character he played in the war.

Betrayed by the very ones he trusted. Corvo was granted the power to fight back, but instead of taking his revenge on those that wronged him. He used his powers to end the mindless war without ending a single life. And thanks to him, the rightful crown was returned the land of Gristol. But along the way, towards the end of his journey. Corvo found a young boy being attacked by a group of guards for no reason.

He watched from above as the young boy, although rather small fought back against the guards until Corvo saw that he needed to send this before they killed the child. To Dante the one before him was nothing more then another live he had saved but something was different about this one. For some reason Corvo felt compelled to take this child with him. And as he reached out to the boy. He saw it. The mark that he bore on his left hand, was the same on the right hand fo the young child.

"What is your name little one?"

The boy looked at the man in the mask before him. He held his hand out to him. He was afraid but at the same time he felt the person before him ment him no harm.

"My name is Dante."

Some time after Emily is firmly on the throne, Corvo is contacted by the Outsider once more... And sent on a mission to save a reality...
Of talking ponies?!
But was he the only one sent to Equestria?

Poor Shining Armor.

What a sad fate to fall upon you. The Elements of Harmony were stolen, your beloved wife was killed, and your daughter was hidden somewhere in the city. And if that was not enough suffering, the people believe that you were responsible for her death, though she was the same alicorn you swore to protect. But we know what really happened don't we? Yet here you are, rotting in a cell, waiting for a crowd’s cheer as your head hits the block, while the city is slowly being conquered by rats. Let’s see if we can't do something about that, and to make things interesting, I'll give you a gift.

Use it well, Shining Armor.

Old, Corvo is proud of the work that he and the rightful empress has accomplished. The Outsider comes to him, though, after many years of silence. The Void was nearly destroyed, and The Outsider has a new challenge for Corvo, and a deal that Corvo cannot begin to refuse.

Many years after the plague has ended and Empress Emily Kaldwin has been restored to the throne Lord Protector Corvo Attano passes away. But can one marked by The Outsider truly die and find eternal peace? Or is he doomed to become a part of The Void? Corvo's soul belongs to The Outsider and normally Corvo wouldn't be offered any chances...

However the Cosmic Trickster still finds Corvo particularly interesting and offers the human a deal...

If Attano manages to amuse The Outsider once again, the latter will bring him back to life, allow him to see Emily again and release his soul...

Seeing that as his only option, Corvo takes the deal and is thrown into a world that is a complete contrary to his own... To a peaceful world of Equestria with a mission that might change the fate of the colorful place forever...

Queen Dawnbreaker has been assassinated and her her daughter Nova - foalnapped. All blame falls upon their Royal Protector Rainbow Dash who has been sent to execution. But little do they know, that the city has fallen into the oppressive hooves of the Corrupted Elements that have come to power after the fall of the Queen.

As the underworldly plague rips what is left of Equestria to shreds, Rainbow, along with a rag-tag team of Loyalists, set off to find the missing foal and restore the land to its once shimmering glory. But little does the prismatic mare know, darkness is rising.
