Wastelands. Dystopias. Playgrounds for megalomaniacal villains. Each time Starlight forced her into a new world, it was just another variation of Tartarus that she was glad to leave behind and forget about. Unfortunately, thanks to over thirty timeline jumps, Starswirl's spell has gotten worn and frayed, forcing her to stop in this latest world to repair it. Fortunately, things seem relatively peaceful. Unfortunately, Twilight soon finds out the reason for that peace is...complicated.

Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich have been friends for some time when Cheese suggested that they try to move the relationship further. Far from objecting, Pinkie was all for it. However, as their first legitimate date approaches, Pinkie is nervous that she may screw it up, and Cheese may change his mind.

Cheese on the other hand, is nervous that he won't be good enough for her.

They both want this, so why is it so hard to progress this friendship into something more?

The Elements of Harmony have just turned Discord back to stone, and everything is back to normal. But is it really the job of the Element of Kindness to do that? Can Fluttershy really go on like nothing happened? If not what can she do about it?
