Rainbow Dash has always had a large secret that she kept hidden away from everyone. However, this secret was revealed after Rainbow Dash received a letter from her earth pony fashionista aunt that happens to have the same name she does, stating that she is visiting Ponyville. From there, secrets and other pleasant surprises are shown at the most fabulous place in Ponyville: Carousel Boutique.

When Scootaloo was filly, she was told by Twilight that Rainbow Dash had died in an accident while doing performing a stunt in the Wonderbolt Academy. Scootaloo vowed to repay her by becoming a Wonderbolt. She has to now win this race to be a Wonderbolt and for a Rainbow Dash.

I'm Shining Armor, and as Twilight's older brother, I'm the one who has to approve of whoever dates her. Or whoever wants to date her. Or, in the case of Flash Sentry, might even think about wanting to date her. But I don't like him. Not one bit. I have a visceral hatred of him from the very core of my being. So, I kick Flash Sentry's flank.

He deserves it, after all, and I'm sure that you all agree.

Twilight has something she needs to tell Princess Celestia--something that means a chance at getting everything she's ever wanted, or of losing everything she's ever had.

Something so terrifying that the only way she could say it was in a letter...and so wonderful that she had the courage to send it.

This story was a spur-of-the-moment thing. I was looking through a bunch of stories that I had stopped working on due to my Writer's Block, and I thought of this storyline. I hope you enjoy it.

This story ties into the episode Daring Don't toward the end, so if you haven't seen it yet, then it may not be advisable for you to read this story, as it may contain spoilers for Daring Don't.

After the Changeling Invasion and peace has been established in Equestria Princess Chrys of the Changelings now lives between her mother Queen Chrysalis and her father Shinning Armor, but with strong tensions between the two and the restoration of Ponyvile and departure of her teacher Twilight Sparkle soon both parents decide to take the other to court with their daughter's fate in the balance.
