After the changelings' failed invasion of Canterlot, Twilight tries to soothe some of Ponyville's rampant paranoia by casting a spell to prove there are no imposters hiding in the town. But her spell leaves her in an alien body, facing a mob of angry ponies who just don't believe her when she says she is Twilight Sparkle.

Or, at least, she was Twilight Sparkle, anyway...

Twilight lives a comfortable, expected life with the security of being surrounded by her mentors and friends. After Nightmare Night, Luna realizes that there is still ponies who disrespect her and her night. After many consecutive ponies showing Celestia more respect than her will she be tempted to cause Daylight's End? This time once and for all?

Luna's return from the moon was anything but easy. Severe memory loss meant that she knew nothing of her rebellion and subsequent banishment. Forcing her to rely on Celestia's story. But the Lunar princess is slowly regaining her memory. And with it comes revelation. The true reason for the rebellion, the lies told by her sister. Her daughter.

As the Thousand Star Fall nears, Princess Celestia sends a letter to Twilight Sparkle with an upsetting comment.

After watching another majestic night, Twilight is told to make a wish because wishing on a star always grants wishes. She refuses. After all, it's only an old pony's tale. Climbing into bed, she has a strange dream, yet little does she know, dreams are the desires and wishes of the heart. Upon her waking, she may just find that the stars are rather lenient in their rules and methods.

Luna comes to Twilight for help in learning about friendship. However, this leades to her falling in love with her sister's student. However, deep within her mind, Nightmare Moon is starting to crawl out again and with an approaching Solar Eclipse to aid in her growth of power, will Twilight be able to conquer Moon through her love or will the Nightmare be free and the night last forever?
