Had it not been for Cadence and Shining sendin' them packin', we might all be changelings by now. Not long after, Princess Celestia ordered a stallion from every house to enlist for the counterattack against them. He served his kingdom, as did countless other colts, and he came back without a scratch on him. Or, so Ah thought...

As the Ursa Minor problem is drawn to bitter conclusion, Trixie finds herself torn by choices - should she carry on down the harsh and lonely road of her life, now with nothing to her name, or rein in her pride and return to Ponyville to ask somepony for help? At that, will she even learn anything?

Just a interesting thought I had after seeing the story picture. Sure there are plenty of HiE stories, but how many of them are set in a time before the show even existed and had a mostly non-English speaking main character? Not many. So inspired, I threw this together. Hope you enjoy.
