Unfortunately, it isn't until she's given a few stallions in Ponyville a chance to impress her does she realize the perfect stallion has been right in front of her the whole time! He understands her competitiveness, need for speed, and her hatred of boredom. There's just one problem: he could end up destroying the world.

Twilight rushes home one evening due to a horribly embarrassing event that has just transpired in her life. When Spike finally gets her to talk about it, she tells him of her newly found crush, and how she may have messed up any chance she had at a relationship. With the advice from her number one assistant and friend Applejack, can Twilight fix what happened and get a second chance with her crush?

This is just a short story I wrote to share one of the ideas I had about Chrysalis' past. I might write a short sequel (or second chapter; I dislike sequels) in which the letter is found and read.

Rated Teen just to be safe, as Chrysalis is injured in the story. I know how much ratings can annoy ye who approve these stories, so I figured I'd just play it safe.
