On an expedition to the castle of the Two Sisters, Twilight and Starlight Glimmer discover an abandoned section of the castle, containing the living quarters of the former residence. Here they make a discovery that would reshape their understanding of the history of Equestria lost to time, left to decay with the happy memories of Celestia's time after Luna's banishment.

This is a prologue for a pre-historical story, written as an adventure story spanning the lost years between the founding of Equestria and the coronation for the Princesses. This story will take time to get out, but I hope the first part interests you enough to continue reading installments in the future. Please note this story is not about the main six, Twilight and Starlight are only here for a send off, these events and stories are of a new cast, but some familiar faces and names will return throughout the series including some sisters at a much younger age o-O.

Moving into a new house is always tough. Leaving the environment you know, saying goodbye to the places you are familiar with, getting used to an entirely new living space that does feel nowhere near like home at the beginning..... Moving out from an abusive household, however, is a blessing.
Ruby Pinch had to leave her old home, for the sake of her safety and her sanity. But now that she sees the house she is supposed to live in from now on, doubts come over her. The history of the house and its look are opportunities for second-guessing and, suddenly, Ruby is not sure about living there anymore.
Her friend Dinky Hooves loves the house, though, and the history of it gives her all the more reason to move in together with Ruby Pinch. Her other friend, Liza Doolots, just wants that Ruby makes the best decision for herself.
Ruby Pinch can always rely on her friends. And together, nothing will stop them from having the best fillies' flat possible..... not even a scary, old witch.

Fresh out of college and ready to tackle her career with all of her might, Cheerilee is what some ponies would call perfect for teaching in Ponyville's schoolhouse. It's her first day on the job, and she's ready to start doing her part to help the town's foals grow to be happy, healthy adults.

Of course, there are some things that college simply can't teach. When one of her pupils begins to show signs of trouble, Cheerilee will be forced to learn a very important lesson.

How to help a pony who already had a cutie mark once, but lost it?

This story is set a few days after Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle got their cutie marks. Despite the description, this story will NOT ignore Tender Taps and what they did for him. It is simply at an earlier point in time (and unfortunately continued much later than I wanted) and at the end of it, everything will come together and make sense.

When Derpy must out of town for a week and needs somepony to take care of Dinky while she is gone, she calls for Dinky's aunt to look after her until she's back. And Dinky absolutely hates it.

For Dinky, it's frustrating and annoying and it makes her angry. All that Dinky wants is to be treated with respect by her aunt and do the things she wants to do, but her aunt just doesn't listen.....

Sometimes it was a good thing. Sometimes, there was a pony will ill intentions, dreams of revenge, perhaps. Then he was the pony for the job.
In other cases, though, his special talent destroyed the dreams of ponies who meant something to him, good dreams that didn't create any harm.
Ponies refer to their special talents as their destinies, but for Crackle Pop, his special talent is a dark and cruel fate. It had hurt his friends, his teachers and his neighbors. It had never hurt his family, though.
This changes on the day fate forces him to ruin the longtime dream of the kindest pony he knows and the pony that means the most to him.....
