Fluttershy is alone on Nightmare Night once again and finds herself visited by an unexpected friend. This particular friends learns some interesting things about the shy mare and she learns things about the visitor that she never would have expected.
(I did post in on fanfiction.com but just blanked. I hope you like it. It is kind of sad and romantic...maybe too much for Halloween but hey, I write for romance and sweet stuff.)

On one of their monthly picnics, now including a certain draconequus, Fluttershy invites her friend Octavia Melody. The girls, and Discord, are actually quite surprised to find out that she's friends with one of the most elegant ponies around.

When asked about how their friendship began, they all find out that Fluttershy is a natural when it comes to one of the most elegant instruments around: the violin.

The Everfree Forest has been home to dangerous creatures that have kept most ponies from ever going in. Now there appears to be something even more dangerous living in the forest when strange howls and animals turning up dead. Most ponies think it's just timberwolves doing the killing. Until Fluttershy discovers a terrifying new creature.

After capturing Sombra, there is little consensus on what to do next. They turn to Equestria's resident villain reformation expert, Fluttershy to be an arbitrator. To reform or not? If only the decision were that simple . . .

Discord's reformation has left him both elated and confused. He didn't really know how to be anything other than a villain. Wandering around the castle one day, he experiences a flashback of his life before he became the villain, when he was just a silly teenager in love with a woman far out of his league. His flashback paralyzes his body and causes him to whack his head off Celestia's throne, concussing him and leaving him bedridden until he recovers. He requests a visit with his only friend, the pony who reformed him, Fluttershy. As Fluttershy tends to Discord's wound, Discord starts to feel a strange tug in his heart that he thought he'd never feel again. It doesn't make any sense to the draconequuis, but then again.... What's the fun in making sense?

Not long after the events of the Crystal Empire, Fluttershy discovers the remains of King Sombra's horn in a field while out on a picnic. She accidently releases the tyrant, only to find that he's weak and hurt. And so, unknown to her friends, the mare begins caring for the broken tyrant in hopes that she could maybe reform him...

Fluttershy has a delicate situation. She has been fussed over by a certain stallion, yet another colt is after her as well. Soarin and Big Macintosh are competing fiercely for Fluttershy's affection. The yellow filly doesn't know what to do; the two stallions aren't consulting her for the decision, but it wouldn't matter either way, as she doesn't have a clue which stallion she'll choose.

Fluttershy loved picking flowers of all kinds, but one day she finds a magic, golden flower hidden in a large patch. She digs it up and takes it home, hoping to add it to her garden. Little does she know that the flower has magic healing powers that could heal an entire changeling army and their queen along with it. Queen Chrysalis sees Fluttershy take the flower and goes after it. But when she arrives at Fluttershy's house, the flower is gone, and all that is left is a sleeping pegasus and yards and yards of pale, pink mane. Chrysalis makes a choice that could be her victory and her destruction.
