A horrible Cataclysm has turned all of Equestria into a Wasteland of barren ash and twilight desolation. The Sun and the Moon have been destroyed. A man who has spent his whole life around planes gets a chance to fly an experimental plane in front of his friends and future wife, his family are neglectful and do not approve of his career. His task is to fly into extreme conditions to test the aircraft. When a perfect storm becomes too much for the plane, he crashes. One he next wakes up, he finds himself as the foal of Soarin and Rainbow Dash, whom they name Tornado Blitz.

Now Tornado wants to get back anyway he can and hears the tale of a rift that opens in Equestria every so often. But as he spends time with his new family and grows attached to them, what will be his choice?

Stay with his new parents in Equestria, or try to fly into the rift with the slim chance of getting home.

Twilight's new SpARK program and it's legendary lore attracts many ponies to examine what about the nursery makes it such a secret project. Following several alternative plot lines, what happens in the nursery is at the whim of the nursery's creator and its inhabitant's desire.

Thank you, Zubric, for roleplaying this with me to iron out some details.

Dragmire is an island country which accepts all Equestrian, Lion Hybrids, and Draconic Tribe to settle in it. Meteor Blaze, a recent arriver to this country and a nomad for life, travels across the country searching for two old friends.

Young Nictis had one dream: to serve his hive by becoming an Infiltrator, the most vital and vaunted role a changeling could aspire to. To hide in plain sight among the other species, blending in, while gathering the vital emotional energies that fueled his people. Few were deemed worthy of the dangerous job. He was one of the few nymphs selected for training, in the hopes that one of them would develop the skills needed to be entrusted with such a treacherous task.

But when a training expedition ends in tragedy, Nictis finds himself thrust into the role not to serve his hive and people, but to preserve his own life. Separated from the hive, alone, he must put what little training he has to the test. He must blend in with the hive's greatest source of food, and its most dangerous enemy: the ponies of Equestria.

(This story takes place in the same continuity as Fragments, but stands on its own. Reading that story isn't necessary for this one.)

I came came up with the idea while listening to slipknot.

There are ponies whose special talents extend a little farther than most would first guess, and cutie marks that apply so much greater than most actually know. Heart Healer is such a pony., a nurse with the ability to heal others beyond cuts and bruises. If there is a pony with a broken leg, a broken heart, or a broken spirit, Heart Healer can nurture these things with the tender care of a mother to her foal.

Yet the broken heart on her flank reflects the state of her own heart all too well. Cracked, with little more than a bandage holding it together. How can a pony that brings so many ponies joy be so sad on the inside? And how does she manage to hide it?

Heart Healer is broken hearted, ironic enough, and tired. She has to make others happy, else what is her purpose? Yet, little does she realize, she doesn't do anything special to make ponies happy. All she does is be herself, and the healing happens all on its own. And when she's really broken, all it takes is a good friend to put her heart back together, she just has to let them in.

This is somewhat of a prequel to Foal Games, explaining how DustStorm and FlashRain started working together in the SIU, but is not required to read the story, Foal Games.

The Missing Pony Unit (MPU) always disliked the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) for many reasons. The SIU often yanked cases out of their hands, the ponies in the SIU were cold and distant, never speaking much even during collaborative investigations. FlashRain despised the SIU, and when asked to work with an agent from the SIU was more than outraged. The SIU agent, DustStorm, wasn't exactly happy either.

It did not seem that the two ponies with polar opposite personalities would ever be able to work together. They had completely different ideals and styles of investigation. However, their many investigations drew them together with both superb wins and great losses. This is the story of two ponies became unlikely friends, forming a powerful investigation team.
