The Terrans. A small amalgamation of sapient races and constructs who’s civilisation has rocked the boat of the known galaxy. Forever riding in to save the day weather others like it or not, taking action in the face of injustice perhaps even when it is best not to and boasting the most underhanded of actions as heroic. As the rouges of the galactic community they have earned friends, allies, rivals and enemies with each move they make, sending chaotic consequence cascading through the status quo.

To one particular anomalous planet they are a legend passed into myth, remembered by few in reverence and animosity alike. After an impossible two thousand years they are returning, biting the tail of what remains of a society of slavers now fleeing through the unknown regions.

Some creatures eagerly await this return, having waited millennia for their saviours and honorary siblings in hardship. They yearn for the place in the world they were once promised and denied.

One of those who remember awaits them eagerly, willing to bare the price of the progress they bring. Her passion drives her to reforge a connection with those who have in actuality never really known her.

Another has only apprehension for the disruption of the status-quo that is known to follow them and the chaos they sow. She fears them and more so the reaction of how she condemned those who came before, herself ignorant of the good others have seen in them.

And yet many more will only have shock and confusion at the appearance of this ancient myth but the Terrans, they will be the most confounded of all as they will find their legacy on this world is older than even they are as a people.

In commemoration of four seasons of Pone
The Mane Six Meet Their Fans!

Twilight and her friends, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie, are all out enjoying a picnic. That is, until a big black portal swallows them up and spits them out Celestia knows where!

Wherever the portal is taking them to now looks a little bit like... a little blue marble?

Things just go from bad to worse, even after their hooves are back on the ground. The girls all can't help but wonder, just what is going on here? Stranger still, Twilight really thinks she recognizes that announcer's voice, but she can't quite place it.

Authors Note

Just a couple chapters of nonsense for a silly joke premise. I like the idea of ponies actually encountering us, and I love self deprecating humor, as well. This is a very lighthearted tale intended purely as a short read pick me up and to get you, the readers, giggling like madmen (and women). Please enjoy, everypony!

Special Thanks
I got a lot of help from all of my friends once again on this story. Thank you all fellows, you're something else. Thank you especially Ludicrous Lycan for drafting framework! Lastly, thank you everypony for sticking around for so long in the fandom. This story and many others like it and better wouldn't exist without you!

The cover-image is a cleverly edited stock image, which was modified by the stupendous Corvo.
Proofreading was performed by the equally fantastical writers:
Timetraveling Pony (Who started as a proofreader when Cloud was writing this. Hats off to him for being dedicated and staying on as a proofreader for me.)
DustyPwny
Tidal
Superluminous
Night Spark
PhiliChez

And a special Thank You goes to The Sentient Cloud for allowing me the honor of continuing this great story after he retired from writing fimfictions.

As it turns out, this story is eerily similar to Lyra Heartstrings and the Hand of Man. Due to their similarity, I feel that it would be appropriate to give said story a mention.

SG-1 is sent through the Stargate as a forward scouting team for an extended scientific mission to P3X-597. Arriving in a long abandoned castle, the team heads out for the nearest village. As they approach, it becomes clear that the locals aren't exactly human. Their contact with the pony-like aliens goes well, conveniently timed alongside a celebration of the sun, until an over-the-top, hammy, evil pony appears to ruin the festivities.

A Stargate SG-1 crossover.

The year is 2806, and Humanity has long left the loving embrace of their planet. After defeating the fanatical Enlightened, a warmongering alien race who had come to destroy them, many thought that an era of peace and prosperity was to come.

But that was not the case. Earth was lost in the war, and Humanity was divided.

A galactic civil war is raging in the galaxy, and three notorious pirates seeking to leave that life depart on a voyage to find the long-lost homeworld of Humanity: Earth. But complications arise as their destination is far more colourful, and far more occupied than originally expected…

Follow the tale of the Cerberus Pirates, and their struggles on a foreign world with nothing but the technology on their persons and the wreck of their ship to work with. Striving to get back to Mother Earth, and doing whatever it takes to achieve that goal.

Chapters (12)

In a universe where humans are quite shocked to find ponies that speak languages at all, let alone English, the startling discoveries never seem to stop for the poor crew of the SMS Verreiter IV, an old-warship-turned-exploration-vessel hybrid that's certainly seen better days. Heck, some even speak of times that it had days where all the systems functioned properly for hours at a time.

Either way, they're on a mission of exploration, which means they'll be visiting every Old Earth-sized rock they can find. With a motley consignment composed of few jittery scientists, veteran marines, an exasperated captain, and a combat-hardened, battle-forged crew with absolutely nothing to do besides repair their own ship from itself, it seems like it'll be a very long year of exploration.

Then they find a planet with some rather startling similarities to human society.

Like Manehattan, the apparent parody of the American district, ponies having developed the English language, and the use of human-like tools and buildings.

And when the ship's transmitter fails at the worst possible moment, Forschungsschiff Kapitan Arnhem Zorner has to decide how best to introduce his country and humanity to these beings. Who can levitate books probably as easily as they could levitate knives and hurl them at him.

He doesn't know whether to laugh of cry at the situation that's been thrown at his face.
