Cortana has several problems, and very little she can do to solve any of them. Being stranded on half of a ship in deep space, with the clock on her lifespan slowly running out, she gets desperate enough to try almost anything.

She goes so far as to land her half-ship on a strange astronomical anomaly, in the slim hope of finding a method of FTL travel on it. Now, her latest problem consists of understanding the mind-bending physics of this planetary crime against reason, without prematurely going insane.

Chief wakes up on a new planet, and is, as always, presented with aliens he needs to kill in order to accomplish his mission.

Equestria witnesses the arrival of a large object from space, and has to deal with the fallout of it's destructive crash landing. Though the real threat the object poses is not something anypony could have anticipated.

(Knowledge of the Halo games is advised, though not strictly required.)

At the height of the EndWar, a Ghost team has orders to track down a madman who has kidnapped some of the United States' top scientists. However, when it turns out that the madman has used them to build a portal to escape from the world's ongoing onslaught, he runs through, forcing the Ghost team to follow through and take him down. In the aftermath of events, the Ghosts realize that they have no way to return home, and find themselves in a middle of a conflict that calls upon their talents to protect Equestria.

Worse, the timid pegasus seems to have arrived just in time to witness the rapidly approaching climax of a civil war that has been raging for three hundred years...

When a fantasy world’s story ends in fire, the gods of the humans sacrifice everything to send the last remnant of their charges to a new world, beyond the reach of their powerful enemies.

The humans who had lost everything are now given a new world to explore, but will the hazards of the Everfree prove too much for them? And how exactly will the Equestrians react to their new neighbors?

Will the humans adapt to their new gods, or will they die out twice?

This is my first fic, I wanted to try something I haven't seen before.

There are three distinct moments of time. One is the present, a constant menagerie of ever-changing conditions, where all life live and act. Another is the future, full of uncertainty and possibility; in which speculation and imagination exists . Finally, there is the past, set, unchanging; from where remembrance and recollection occurs. To simplify: one can only hope for the future, live in the present, and recall the past.
But what if one could do the impossible? Something so unbelievable that it shouldn't even be feasible.......

Twilight Sparkle wakes up one morning to a harsh dose of unreality. She is stranded, without her friends, on an island which matches no known locale on Equestria. Surrounded and harried on all sides by the alien and the dangerous, she will find her mettle sorely tested, and find perhaps that the best friends you will ever have in your life are the ones you make when your back is to the wall...

Yet, neither side was completely ignorant of the other. On Earth, there was the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and in Equestria there was the ever popular movie serial "The Dark World: Technology is Courage" which was a favorite of colts everywhere as well as the "Pumans".

And now both sides learn through an event that the other is real. Come join us as we watch as both sides learn to work and live together. And as they find out that events on their respective fiction was not as nice as it seemed as we widen the lenses of the view points...

After a hard day's dungeon crawl Kazuto, Asuna, and the gang relax at the Dicey Cafe. As they sit they hear on the television about new developments in cross dimensional technology. Naga then tells the group that not only was he able to get his hands on the code, but he attempted to use part of it to create random new virtual worlds. The gang whole-heartedly agree that they should try it out. When the party does check it out they find themselves no longer in the virtual world, but in a very real alternate universe of Equestria.

What adventures are in store? Where will they go?
