Nearly a week since the Storm King's defeat and still no one has seen trace of Discord. For Twilight and friends, what started as mild irritation at Discord's inaction in their most recent crisis has turned to worry at the inexplicable disappearance of their friend. So when he suddenly shows up in Ponyville acting as though nothing's wrong, he certainly has some explaining to do.

And it's an explanation that no one could have seen coming.

The Bearers have fallen, the Princesses are long gone and the villains have taken over Equestria. How this happened, nopony knows. Some say it was Sombra, who killed every Bearer in their sleep with nightmares. Others say that Chrysalis sucked the Princesses dry of their love and killed them, while some say it was Lord Tirek who killed them, who was currently the ruler of Equestria. And the only hope ponies had, has been defeated at the death of her brother. However, weak but standing Akiko managed to build a hidden kingdom, where the good ponyfolk can seek shelter. And her reborn brother Discord can live happily without the horrible treacheries of his past life. However Discord gets lost after an incident and has to make it back to his sister and the village. But it won't be long until he realizes the true treacherous world out there. And about the old legend of the Lord of Chaos...)

It's not random -- it's chaos!

Somehow this is fourths fault.

Discord caught a weird illness and it's the only one he can't get rid of magically. Fluttershy takes him home and nurses him back to health. One more thing, Discord has never actually been sick, let alone been sick for a couple of weeks. Maybe after this whole thing is over, Discord will have learned what sympathy means.

Pinkie Pie recalls her days on the dreary rock farm, when color was muted and bleak. Her first real sighting of how bright and cheerful colors could be came from the sonic rainboom Rainbow Dash caused.
Now, Pinkie Pie wants a new color. The current ones just aren't enough, and they don't do enough to make ponies happy for long periods of time. She wants something unique and exciting, and so she talks to her friends in her quest for just such a thing.

Readers of the friendship journal still pursue Fluttershy for answers as to why she keeps learning the same thing. Thankfully Discord is there to have a little...chat with them when they interrupt the two's Tuesday Tea.

This is a cute little fanfic idea I had a small while after the episode "Fame and Misfortune" was aired.

Twilight, as a result of a magical experiment gone wrong, has disappeared. Several months pass with no sign of her whereabouts. Hope was nearly lost until a faint whiff of her magic was felt in a far away universe. Discord takes it upon himself to rescue the young alicorn. However, many years have passed for Twilight. Long enough for her to nearly give up hope in seeing Equestria again, and long enough for her to build ties to this new world. Now, Twilight must choose where she belongs.

Pinkie is running Sugarcube Corner while the Cake family is off visiting family. Like any other day filled with baked treats, she is up long before sunrise to get everything made for the day. Of course, not everything goes as planned when Discord suddenly pops in to order a special cake. Pinkie is more than happy to make the cake though; after all, how hard can it be?
