A collection of one-shots featuring all of your favorite ponies! Now, I have a way of choosing the next Pony Tale. Recently, I hosted a contest on the blog a little help here? The winner, in fact everyone who participated lol, gets to pick a story. The main ideas will come from my friend Midnight Demon. Check her out! she has but one story, but it is a good one. The others are, and you should check them out too: LunarPrince 369, LisaWolf, and oti9876. The basic ideas, the plots I'll write the stories around, will be theirs, but how they are played out are mine hehe. Enjoy the first tale, Nightmare.

When your life is as dull a gray as the world that surrounds you, the mundanities can make it all seem meaningless. Sometimes all we need is a little color -- or six -- to reintroduce us to what truly makes life worth living.

No one knows about Fluttershy's past, life, or family. Even she doesn't know. Everyone assumes she is the shy loner, who is more shaky than an earthquake. When the forgetment spell is broken, she soon figures out who she really is. Nobody, not even her friends expect her to be an alicorn warrior, fighting demons and things scarier than Deaths army...Oh wait she's fighting those too! But something is drawing her to them, like there is something in there, important to solve this secret of the war. Will this be her destiny? Is she able to be the leader she is supposed to be?

The mane 6 are in trouble! Ponyville has been thrown into anarchy from a virus that is unknown to any pony. Trying to find a cure, and battling the un-dead ponies across Equestria, they come across a new Left 4 Dead gang. Do they join forces or do they split up into their own paths and do things separately. Follow the gang on their epic quest to restore harmony to Equestria.

In the aftermath of the wedding, Spike is bitter and avoiding everyone. Twilight's determined to find out what's bothering her charge, but she walks a very fine line when dealing with an emotionally distraught child.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash suspects something's wrong with Scootaloo, so she starts spending more time with her in hopes of picking the secret from her brain. As she begins to truly mentor the young filly for the first time ever, she begins to see the advantages to having a little sister.

And while all this is going on, Pinkie is struggling with some old family issues that have been brought to the surface, meaning she might have to confront her past at last.

Twilight Sparkle realizes that Rainbow Dash has been keeping a secret from her ever since the Mare Do Well incident. When she goes to confront her about it, she finds out more than she bargained for. And then Twilight reveals that she's been keeping something from her friends ever since the Royal Wedding. Now everything is out there; harsh words have been spoken and a once strong friendship hangs in the balance.

Young Shadow Bolt must travel to Ponyville on a quest to save her family. She makes some friends and they band together to make the Friendship Fighters. They then try to earn their Cutie Marks while helping to find Shadow's missing Family.

This is my first fic so tell me what I did wrong and don't sugar coat it to much. I appreciate honesty.

Applejack's life is turned upside-down after she suddenly inherits the full powers of a goddess. She insists that it isn't a big deal and that she's the same pony as always, just bigger. Meanwhile, everypony else starts making demands on her and placing expectations on the 'new princess'. When the constant stream of petitions and gawkers starts interfering with farm work, Applejack reacts a bit strongly. Luna, fearing the worst, is determined to rescue Applejack from corruption, further irritating the farm pony. Will Applejack accept her destiny, or is destiny what you make of it?
