The Great and Powerful Trixie regarded herself as the greatest magical power in all Equestria until one fateful day - the day she was completely and utterly outclassed by Twilight Sparkle.

All of Equestria will suffer the consequences, as Trixie has vowed to become the most powerful magical being in the land at any cost.

Even at the cost of her soul...

(While it may be helpful to read "The Eternal Storm" before this to understand some of the backstory, it is not required to get the most out of this story.)

Trixie's life has hit rock botom ever since the Ponyville incident. She's been blacklisted by the nobility, and now no town with aristocracy will allow her to perform, or even stay. Luckily fo her, there is a town where she can get a fresh start, and now she's found it.

So yes as you may have guessed this is a rewrite of the season 1 episode Bridle Gossip in which I take the starting point and go wandering off towards the same general destination by an entirely different route.

A gift from a magician gives the former great and powerful Trixie an opportunity to steal Twilight's magic to renew her traveling magic show. However, things don't go as expected and the two unicorns switch bodies instead, forcing Trixie to become the Amazing and Wonderful Sparkle, leaving Twilight in a bind.

The Grand Galloping Gala left many a heart broken, dream crushed, or mouth tasting bitter. In its aftermath, Wonderbolt escapee Soaren finds himself in Ponyville, with a solution to all three, at least for an orange earth pony whose bark most definitely matches her bite.

After a 1000-year condemnation on the moon, Luna has rehabilitated her position as Princess of the night. Princess Celestia is glad to see the connection between Luna and the night harmonized as well as the connection they share themselves. But there is another bond that Luna must take initiative on: socialization

A slumber party is a decision Luna makes on her endeavor, so are the six equines as special guests. With aid from Celestia, Luna just might make her first step.

This isn't necessarily my first attempted fanfic, but it's my first completed one. I hope you readers will enjoy; criticism is appreciated.
