Trixie's life has hit rock botom ever since the Ponyville incident. She's been blacklisted by the nobility, and now no town with aristocracy will allow her to perform, or even stay. Luckily fo her, there is a town where she can get a fresh start, and now she's found it.

well I can see this will be a story to track and so I have, I thought it might have been Aaaaaaaaaaaapaloosa, a town with no high class ponies I couldn't think of any other place. I think Trixie is going to have fun living there.

...In partial seriousness, I've actually read something like this (No offence to you, so far this isn't that much like it and seems to be going down a different path.) In which Trixie ends up in Aaaaaaaaploosa and has to stop a band of thieves like in them ol' western movies. Theres much more to it that I won't cover, but I think these storys just have similar settings and casts. Tracked and starred.

I agree with everything FascinationUnlimted said and I second some Trixie X Braeburn shipping(rare for F/M shipping for Trixie). It'll be interesting to watch Trixie change for the better and grow up. I still hope she talks in 3rd person though.

I normally don't read much with Trixie, I didn't particularly like her to being with and most fics with her always seem to pair her off with Twilight, which I don't like. Now this on the other hand... hoof is pretty good. Making her work for redemption while at the same time having her find her place in the world.
The ending of this chapter... is that a hint as to their relationship? Anyway great job

<Normal Trixie fic with some hints, and FRIENDSHIP, keep on, I like how you portray Braeburn
Shipping or no shipping, this fic is still great and I love how Trixie is changing for the better meaning her attitude and hell, she even made a friend maybe something more than a friend. I thought it was very d'awww during the chess match. Plus the idea of making Braeburn smart is an interesting twist, not to mention having him being both very likeable and assertive is also full of win. I can't wait for moar.
