Quills always loved stories, so much so he knew he wanted to be a writer, but never knew what he wanted to write for the longest time in his life. Good ideas of stories to be were thrown away, put on hiatus, and he was never able to summon the right words to tell a story.

He was ready to give up on this lost cause until one fateful day he met a pegasus that would change his life forever.

This is a story inspired from AbsoluteAnonymous' "A Writer's Lament," ( http://www.fimfiction.net/story/25573/A-Writer%27s-Lament ) a story which helped me break my own writer's block, as well as a story inspired from my own life when it came to writing, and how much I struggled until I found something I cared greatly for, even love, and wanted to write all about. Much like Quills, this pegasus changed my life as well, so this story comes from the bottom of my heart. Hope you enjoy it!

A fic inspired by my writing on /mlp/ in a feels thread. If you don't go on 4chan, are a casual viewer, or don't have the same "feels" as several of the /mlp/ community do, then this might not be for you. Otherwise, enjoy!

Set in the Memverse in Techogre's Memoirs of a Reality Jumper (starring also is KMCA's Matthew, from Jumper). Alex goes with his Equestrian loved ones and friends to the beach, bringing along Matthew with him. Even on a relaxing coastline facing the ocean blue, does he and Matthew face new experiences, many of them comical, and learn more things about Equestria.

A/N: I uploaded this before but unfortunately I'm a complete freaking moron. In an attempt to remove another story of mine I ended up deleting this one, and this one did quite well before. I went back and revised certain parts of the story so it flows better and makes more sense as well as adding completely new parts.

When an enemy from an unknown planet suddenly arrives, they quickly attack, leaving the planet a dying world that will no longer exist within one year. Princess Luna, aided by the fearless Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends, they will travel 148,000 Lightyears to the planet Iscandar and one day restore Equestria to it's once shining beauty. Climb aboard the Space Battleship Yamato and it's faithful crew of ponies for the adventure of a lifetime!

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). Twilight writes an extra special letter to the princess after binge drinking for hours on end. The letter isn't about a lesson of the true meaning of friendship as the princess had come to expect. Nope, more along the lines of drunkard ranting and a copious amount of angst. Let's read it now, shall we?
