At last, Apple Bloom has begun to fall for Sweetie Belle. The teenage Apple can't sleep without dreaming of her. Encouraged by Applejack's relationship with Sunset Shimmer, she wants to make Sweetie Belle the happiest girl in the world. But the harshness of life will undoubtedly teach her that some doors can't swing certain ways.

Inspired by some of my life lessons in falling in love with people who couldn't reciprocate their love for me. Hope you enjoy this.

With Canterlot High's annual Summer Dance Party just around the corner, Diamond Tiara is in dire need of a date. Fortunately, she already has one. Unfortunately, nobody thought it prudent to inform Diamond of that fact.

After several years together, Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara opt for a vacation in Silver Cove to take a beach-side break from the day to day grind and hopefully rekindle some of their original spark.

That was the plan anyway, but plans don't always work out. The best you can do is to salvage a bad situation and wash the tree sap out of your mane.

One year ago, the parasites known as the Shinion came from the stars to Equestria. Unable to survive without a host, they attach to the back of a pony's head and drain the essence of their emotions, undetected even by their own host.

All except one pony, that is.

Applejack, as a former Bearer of Harmony, was too powerful and headstrong to succumb to the Shinion's influence. Instead, she twisted her parasite to her own will, combining its power with her own.

Now she fights the marauding Shinion as Equestria's hero: the Iron Rider, Rangelkai! But even heroes have their weaknesses...

An action-packed pastiche of the tokusatsu genre of Japanese entertainment, written to be accessible to those unfamiliar with kaiju, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc.
