Fueled by courage and armed with technology and a van, the tornado ponies are on Earth to both study tornados for the benefit of humans and gather data to improve predictions. Dusty's a grizzled veteran of storm-chasing, and the ponies were born for it, but neither pegasi nor humans can totally predict where a tornado will go or what it might do.

Twilight Sparkle, though aware that her life would undoubtedly have unexpected turns, never once imagined something like this. A dream, or perhaps, something more than that. At first, the sirens were bound by Adagio's mad experiment in cooperation. Then they were bound by circumstance, the only three of their kind in an almost magicless world. Then they became human, and were bound by nothing. The end result was inevitable.

And yet, in spite of both reason and instinct, Sonata Dusk feels like two pieces of her heart are missing. She's going to have to deal with that.

Having a regular menu and deliveries of frozen, pre-diced vegetables once a week is boring. Going to the farmer's market every day after work and finding discounted food that will be otherwise thrown away, and then making a delicious dish out of it? That's a challenge that Parsnip can get behind.
