Three best friends end up in Equestria but not all of them are ponies. One who isn't a brony, and even borderlines on being a hater, is a griffin. Another who is more calculating and cocky but hates hiding is a changeling. Finally the last of them is a unicorn who's special talent is that he adapts and overcomes. Together these three best friends will fight changelings, ponies, demigods, and the god of chaos himself.

The Changeling race has been around longer than most ponies realize. They've always found ways to feed themselves without resorting to violence. But after their leader attacks Canterlot, one pony decides to throw away his life to see things change.

Author Notes: This is my first story i've written and published in any capacity. Please comment and inform me of any mistakes I make throughout the story as well as in tagging and such. Teen & gore tag for later scenes involving live experiments and such.

Comet takes his job too seriously. Angel doesn't take anything seriously.

Comet joined to protect kingdom and princess(es). Angel joined for adventure and danger.

Comet isn't interested in mares. Angel can't stop talking about stallions.

Comet is a pegasus. Angel is a bat pony.

Together, this unlikely duo goes through life as Royal Guards from basic training to fully fledged guardsponies. Who knows? Maybe they'll even start to get along.

Twilight Sparkle is dying. She has lived a full, happy life, and now her time has come. But she wants to send Princess Celestia one last letter before she leaves forever...

When a Necromancer is hurled into the place between places then escapes to another world at the cost of his life it is not the end. Being a Necromancer he returns to life with ease, but is skirting the edges of consciousness, and unable to truly wake as a mysterious figure uses magic to put him on the back of a horse to carry him away into the night.

To make matters worse the phylactery he used to save his own life recreated him as a member of the dominant race with... some errors. His injuries are still present and he's now in a much smaller body with his magic drained to nothingness.

So now he's horribly injured, held captive by an unknown force, in an unfamiliar body, in an unfamiliar world and completely exhausted. He's had worse days. He just can't think of any off the top of his head. So familiar territory then, nothing to worry about.
