This story is a sequel to Bound By Stars

It has been almost 6 months since the Declaration Of Peace had been signed between the United Earth Empire and Equestria. During this signing in the Intergalactic High Council on Terra Centauri, the Princesses were the only ponies that were allowed to enter the UEE, aside from their personal Security-Team. Now, nearly half a year later, humanity has grown far more acceptant of the Equestrian civilization, with a fair amount of people even going as far as rallying to allow Equestrian citizens to be allowed into UEE-Territory, and some even want to grant ponies the option to gain UEE-Citizenship.

In order to discuss the situation and the possiblities that it presents, Equestria has asked permission to send their Minister of International Affairs, Ms. Fluttershy, on a trip to see the UEE, along with their Minister of Science and Education, Ms. Twilight Sparkle. Permission was granted, and as long as they were escorted by a special guide at all times, they were allowed to see the worlds of the United Earth Empire in all their glory.

This story is a crossover with aspects from “Star Citizen” and “Elite: Dangerous”.

"The sea is merciless, respecter of none. It will swallow you whole, its icy grip dragging you beneath its churning waves, damning you and all you care about to a mindless, chaotic despair, and the singular need to survive.

When you scream to the heavens for a miracle, your lungs choking on the icy brine, it is their light that you will see. They are the guardian angels of the lost souls amongst the drift. They are the Coast Guard."

It was certainly a worthwhile ideal, but for Jason and his helicopter crew, living up to it was no easy challenge. With human technology and ponies' magic, their lives are constantly on the line for the sake of others, the weight of their credo, semper paratus, looming over them.

P.S. The story takes place approximately one hundred years after the Earth and Equestria made first contact.

The story inspired by "The Guardian" 2006 movie. I suggest you watch it.

And just for the records, I don't work in the Coast Guard, so if by chance there are some mistakes in the story don't hesitate to let me know.

I dedicate this story to all the Coast Guard members around the world.

"I've been living my life under the weight of many regrets. There are countless sins in my past that I'll never be able to atone for, thousands of individuals who will never get to see the sunrise again due to my actions. The shame within me is great, but the flaming passion deep within my soul is far more powerful than you can ever imagine.

It's taking every ounce of concentration I have to resist the urge to reduce you to a pile of ash, Envy. I don't know how I ended up in this veritable hell, and I certainly don't know why you two are here with me, but I swear on whatever life I have left that I will protect this place, no matter the cost.

I don't care how many times I'll have to kill you, Envy. You'll die a thousand deaths before you lay a finger on the inhabitants of this world."

Being trapped in stone is about as much fun as it sounds.

Unable to cause chaos or get revenge on those who trapped him, Discord takes the only responsible action.

Pbbbt, yeah right. It's Discord. "Responsible" picks itself up and throws itself right out the window when he's around.

He's getting cat's paws to do his work for him.

(A thousand thanks to Radiant Eclipse for the sweet cover art. Go check out his stuff, he's awesome. I'd also like to give a shout to everyone who's helped me with this story, and to the people who read it. I love you guys. Oh, and fair warning. This was my first foray into fanfiction, so it's pretty mediocre to start. Around the time Nightmare Moon makes her glorious entrance is around the time it stops being crap.)

"OH! That would be the Elements of Harmony! They're the neatest thing! We each get a jewel necklace--Twilight gets a sparkly tiara--and we used them to defeat Discord and Nightmare Moon with rainbows that go pewpewpew-!"

A clawed glove wrapped over Pinkie Pie's lips, silencing her.

"What does the pink one speak of, pony?" He demanded of Twilight, who sputtered at his question. "Do these 'Elements' hold the power to resurrect humanity?"

"I'm... not sure." She returned, halfheartedly. "They're pretty powerful..."

"Where are they?"

"In Canterlot, the city on the mountains, but-"

He dropped Pinkie and stomped off, leaving her to flop around her stretched-out lips. Twilight saw that he was going out the door and in the direction of the city she had mentioned.

"W-wait! Stop!" She galloped after him.

Ten years later after the Pony Pacification, humans and equine soldiers alike reflect back onto the most infamous amphibious invasion known as: "The Day of Disharmony" when over three hundred and fifty thousand human soldiers and armor stormed the beaches of Las Pegasus on what was called: Operation Reprisal along with the horrific occupation that soon followed through.

Possible Triggers: Gore and extreme prejudice pointed at humans and ponies alike

This story is a sequel to Rest

Three Hundred Years.

I've spent all that time teaching both humans and ponies to never forget the war. I've slowly become content with not just my life, but the fact that I am the last dragon. I've made and lost friends, students, and gained a great deal of respect from both ponykind and humanity. I've seen things change for the better, yet there is one thing I am forced to confront one thing that I fear most.

Falling in love.

Can I, a long lived being who has already outlive those I care about, accept a future with a lover? Or am I too afraid to face such a devastating loss once more?
