Your opening chapter snatched my attention like a dingo eating a baby. Frankly I think TCB fics are a cancer and this story just might be the cure. What I want to see is blood and gore just for the sake of it. I want Ultraviolence written in brutal detail. I want you to write a story detailing those little fucking pony's woefully regretting ever daring to fuck with Humanity. If you can acquiesce that request you'll be my hero for life.

I would like a little more story/background, but for demonstrating the heat of battle where the winners are no less bad or good than the losers, I think it does very well. I would like to read it if you were to expand upon it.

Also, TCB stories, especially those turnaround stories where Equestria loses and everyone dies, are generally just depressing for the heck of it. Why would I want to read that? At least this was tense and such with purpose, rather than feels for the sake of depressing.
Also, I got a very Interstellar vibe from that opening scene, which may have been totally intentional, though I was wondering where all the human survivors were.

The chapter here mainly focused on the ponies getting over run. Most of the chapters, not all, are going to focus on certain events from specific point of views. Without going too much into spoiler territory, the next chapter will focus more on the humans establishing a foot hold.
Also Interstellar vibe was kinda intentional, ever since seeing that movie I've been kinda using that a lot. However, I was mostly going for a Band of Brothers/The Pacific focus.
