In her short life as a plotting, scheming, all-around nefarious little ball of hatred and mania, Cozy Glow had investigated many different ways of making herself more powerful. Amulets, artifacts, magical weapons and more; there were few options left to her that weren't contingent on having a stupid horn on her head.

It wasn't long after infiltrating the School of Friendship that she heard rumors about the pool.

Hey hey there friends and strangers alike! You may know me from such classic works as- actually wait, you don't care. The only thing that matters here is that this is my second story ever, and it was written for the 2021 Cozy Glow Short Story Contest #2!

It took me a while to figure out the kind of story I wanted to make, but in the end I just decided to follow my heart. My black, twisted, tragedy-loving heart.

This is an afterthought added weeks after I wrote this, but I think I can sum this story up pretty succinctly. I wrote an old school grimdark fic.

Oh, and if you couldn't tell yet, this was obviously made for the mirror pool prompt.

Prompt: In Equestria, no creature mourned Cozy’s death, except one.

The last thing Cozy Glow knew, she was about to be stoned; suddenly, she's in a mountain cabin, with Twilight Velvet asking her to color. What's the meaning of this?! Is Cozy Glow going to be ... redeemed? Or punished?!

Twilight Velvet knows one thing that her daughter Princess Twilight Sparkle has forgotten; that Cozy Glow might be a wannabe despot, a power-hungry pegasus who allied herself with Chrysalis and Tirek, but in the end ... she was only a filly. Twilight Velvet is determined to see just what kind of filly Cozy Glow really is, at her core. But can she be saved? Or is Cozy Glow truly irredeemable?

It's "bring your daughter to work day" in Ponyville, and Doctor Horse decides to participate. For his daughter, it's exciting at first, but when work engrosses him and she is left alone in his office, she sets off to explore. That psychiatric ward nearby had to be fun, why else would there laughter coming from it?

Cozy and Pinkie have been friends for a short amount of time and neither truly knows the other. Maybe a shared experience can break those barriers?
