(Pinkie Pie & Apple Bloom, Friendship) Pinkie Pie nearly dies in the middle of a return trip through a snowstorm in the aftermath of a bitter family reunion. Apple Bloom is thrown into a depression after a morale-shattering revelation concerning the nature of Cutie Marks. Both of them end up using their respective stories to share a moment between each other while Pinkie Pie is recovering from hypothermia.

So what goes on in the minds of ponies in Equestria? This is a look into their daily thoughts, life, and struggles.

Applebloom is tired of being treated like a filly! She's a big pony, darn it! She wants the respect of her brother and sister, so she decides to take a drink of something definitely not meant for fillies. What happens afterward will convince her to never touch her brother's apple whisky ever again.

The following piece was written before season 3 and I'm not going back to change it, because this story flies in the face of canon anyway. Such is the case when Princess Luna, her faithful court clerk Night Audit, and rookie night guard Star Cluster have to deal with a moose that unexpectedly arrives at Night Court just hours before an important ambassador is scheduled to arrive. Where did the moose come from? Why is it there? Will it stop eating all the royal ficuses? Will Celestia notice the chili powder in her toothpaste?
