When the ponies of Equestria decide to explore beyond the bounds of their peaceful land, they find a world much different than their home, filled with wonders and dangers greater than anything ever known. Ponykind must forge their own destiny in a world where survival depends on much more than the power of friendship.

Apple Bloom doesn't know what her special talent is. But after an incident in the Everfree forest, she starts to have some dark suspicions about it. Her choices will echo through the ages, and they will call her Warmare.

When a new pony arrives in Ponyville to lead a quiet, simplistic life away from the stage, he can't imagine getting smitten by a shy, timid little pegasus. Even worse, his life before wasn't as glamorous as everyone would believe, and when his past begins to show up in his new home, he'll have to decide between the music he loves to play, or the pony he loves to play for.

Author's Note: Yes, I understand the tags are a bit contradictory, but elements of humor always manage to snake their way into every work I do. EDIT 9/21/11: Yes, that cover image is one I drew myself during a Calculus lecture. An intricate flute with a butterfly on the end? How adorable, I know! The rule of Discord may be over, but it left behind an unexpected legacy. Ponyville is no stranger to crazy ponies, but how will it cope with a being born from pure chaos?

The country of Marence is on the route to conquest, and after allieing with Gryphony, turns it's eyes to Equestria. At the same time, a mysterious young Alicorn shows up from nowhere, and seems to terrify all the wild life. Nopony knows why, though. The Mane 6 and all their friends are needed on the front lines. But what is the new Alicorn's agenda?

In Equestria Humans are creatures that are things of legends. Stories are passed over the generations about a human that emerged from the forest over 1000 years ago. The human in these stories is an evil creature who prey on innocent ponies. But to the ponies they are just that: stories. No one really believes that story until a human shows up again. The ponies of Equestria are scared of the human but soon some warm up to his presence. After all humans have changed in 1000 years.
