Having pushed away her brother, her friends, and even Princess Celestia over her ridiculous claims that Cadence was somehow evil, Twilight, in her sadness and loneliness, thinks to throw away the most valuble of Celestia's gifts ... her life.

But, never one to pass up an opportunity for some good mayhem, Discord offers another prize instead ... to see what would happen if Twilight was never born.

During an 100th birthday party, Scootaloo tries to find Pinkie Pie for advice on how to be happy. And by that, she asks Pinkie Pie why she's happy all the time. Scootaloo, having been orphaned and relatively to herself for as long as she can remember, wonders what the point of life is at an early age.

This is a story not just about Pinkie's origins, but about finding the point of it all.

Fluttershy knows that Rainbow Dash stares at her phone every day. She also knows there has to be a reason why.
