Following Princess Luna's return to Canterlot, Princess Celestia had hoped to return to a joint rule with her sister. But Luna, torn by guilt over her past actions and lost in a world that has changed so much since her banishment to the moon, has locked herself away in seclusion and depression. As her concerns for her sister grow, Princess Celestia calls upon one little pony, whose mindset just happens to be a few centuries behind, to reach out his hoof in friendship. Perhaps the magic of friendship could again save her sister from herself?

As Twilight Sparkle prepares for her coronation, she can't help but worry about what the future holds. Normally, this would be the time for a good book, perhaps a biography, to shed some light on how she should react to this sudden change in her life, but it seems no pony has have ever been where she is now.

With Celestia busy with coronation preparations, Twilight has no idea where to turn for advice, but this time, advice seems to have found her.

As a tradition in the castle, Princess Celestia invites all of her ministers and advisers to enjoy a small game with her as a form of welcoming to the new members of her staff. Despite the heat of the summer day, Sharp Point, the newest of Princess Celestia's advisers, arrived at the location, ready to play and completely unaware to the lesson that he was to learn.

After the debacle at Ponyville, Trixie finds making ends meet becoming harder and harder. And when vandalism strikes a heavy blow to her wagon, Trixie is forced to stare bankruptcy in the face. How will she find the money to keep going?

When Equestria accidentally opened a portal to another world, they discovered a new species: humans. Their arrival changed the world. For the Equestrian Ponies, it heralded a great cultural and technological jump needed from their stagnating way of life. For the Gryphons, however, they represented something baser: an opportunity to increase food stock and finally have a 'friendlier' predator species to ally themselves with.

For Gilda, one of the the humans was Ancestor-sent, a soul she would protect for bringing much joy to her life. Few ponies in Canterlot and Ponyville still suffer from the Blank Plague, but there's one very important exception. Princess Luna sequestered herself away from pony contact so she could raise the sun and the moon by herself while Celestia was ill. But Luna cannot live alone forever, so she must expose herself to the plague and endure its effects just as Celestia and Cadence did, while Celestia resumes commanding the sun and the moon once more.

Bellerophon Michaelides, the only human in Equestria, hence the only being immune to the magic-devouring plague, must tend to Luna as he tended to Celestia, with a recovering Twilight Sparkle staying by his side. But Luna has other duties beyond moving heavenly bodies, and dreams do not abide the light of day. Darkness does not rest lightly.

Gus, an engineering student, suffers a life-changing accident. While trying to recover, he finds himself waking up, being prodded by some sort of black and white animal. The next thing he knows, he's in a hospital with more animals around him and one human... and Ponyville is about to find out just what a scientific education means back where Lero's from.

At least Twilight will be thrilled.
