Trixie has lost everything. Her fame, friends, and motivation. She is taken under the teachings of Princess Luna who wants her to realize the meaning of magic, love and friendship. But who does Trixie really love? Only a certain purple unicorn comes to mind...

The Great and Powerful Trixie returns to Ponyville a year after her prior visit to offer magic lessons to Twilight Sparkle. Does the brash unicorn have something to teach Twilight or will Trixie simply find more humiliation?

This story was written quite a bit of time ago and I haven't gone to change anything based on continuity in the past 6 months or so. Not that anything happened in the show that would affect the sense-make of this (moreso than it being fanfiction, anyway). Besides that, I didn't feel the need to shoehorn in references to season two. Besides this version of the story, I'll be making a non-shipping version as well, so if you're not a fan of Twixie, just *puts on sunglasses* hold your horses.

Times are changing, Harmony is at its best and Equestria is in peace. But this balance cannot last. Discords Escape was the last sing Princess Luna needed to make her decision, her sister needs help.

To keep peace through the land Luna seeks the help of three ponies, convincing them to help by one way or the other, these new found companions must overcome beasts and enemies to maintain peace trough the kingdom.

This is but the beginning of the journey, one filled with adventure, fun, love, might and magic (in all of its ways). This is the tale of how Macintosh, Trixie and Derpy Hooves became the Princess’s right hoof and heroes of Equestria.

Because sometimes, just because you're immortal doesn't make you invulnerable. Sometimes, the one you're more proud of than anything else is the one that respects you the most, and sometimes respect goes deeper than either of you had ever realised.

Additionally, because sometimes an author wants to try and write something that doesn't end in horse sex, but instead adorable hugging and stuff. If this doesn't work out I'll probably go on and add some horse sex later, because people always like to see that, but I hope people enjoy it. My first foray into a full sized shipping fic, so please tell me what I screwed up.

Trixie returns after a long time with a completely new performance about the encounter between the Elements of Harmony and Nightmare Moon.
