Now stranded without adults by a storm seemingly without end, the three must try to survive in a leaky shelter on nothing but the leftovers of their sleepover aftermath. As the waters continue to rise, the status of Ponyville or even the Apple family, just yards away, remains unknown.

However, during his exploits in Mexico Mr. Marston encounters a creature of high intelligence and wit. John isn't very surprised given the circumstances.

Twilight Sparkle and Prince Blueblood have a past. It's an innocent past, but still a past. Following Twilight's perceived failure in the Crystal Empire, she seeks a new task for redemption.

Little does she know, she herself may be a friendship problem and it's up to her to make things right.

As old feelings resurface, it'll require a strong will and some good acting to finish the task at hoof... If only she can manage to help Blueblood without falling in love with him.

The idealist concept of a relationship and love drives many young lovers and star struck ponies like Scootaloo into putting in exorbitant amount of effort to please, impress, and court their pony of interest into loving them back. So far it hasn't worked out so well, but Scootaloo is a determined young filly willing to put as much effort as possible into her dream.
