Everypony is thrown into panic when Cozy Glow shows up as an alicorn once again, wearing the Alicorn Amulet and accompanied by her parents (who are also somehow alicorns). Once she gets her revenge on Celestia, Luna, and Discord for turning her into stone, there is little chance of defeating Cozy with the amulet on. Flurry and her friends worry over what Cozy has planned, but a quick visit from Starswirl the Bearded changes everything when he shows Flurry an artifact that may be able to counteract the amulet. Can Flurry stop Cozy from going mad and taking over all of Equestria? And just who are these mysterious parents of Cozy's? Surely they can't really be alicorns. Are they even her real parents for that matter? After all, no loving mother or father would rear their daughter to do such a thing!

While Chip seems to be warming up to Flurry, Annie is having a tough time dealing with the fact that Granny Smith (whom she was named after and was really close to), passed away not too long ago. Flurry and her other friends must find a way to cheer Annie up and let her know things will be alright even without her beloved great-grandmother, they just have to figure out how to do it right.

Tirek, Cozy Glow and Chrysalis wake up to find that their stone statue has been broken and they have been set free. After narrowly escaping the Canterlot guards, they discover they have been asleep for over eight years and immediately start plotting revenge. While Chrysalis desires to rebuild her changeling army, Tirek is tired of Equestria and just wants to return to the Midnight Kingdom to confront Scorpan. Cozy is still angered with Discord, Celestia, and Luna and desires something else very personal. After a long argument, all three of them agree they can no longer continue their alliance and part ways.

This story takes place during the events of my earlier fanfiction "Elements Assemble" and is part of my series called Flurry Heart's Story.

Silverstream takes Flurry Heart to Sugarcube Corner to introduce her to the Cake Twins when suddenly, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich make a surprise visit. Years after Princess Twilight Sparkle's coronation, a young Flurry Heart longs for adventure and to learn friendship lessons like her aunt. Her royal life in the Crystal Empire has become boring and predictable, so Shining Armor and Cadance decide to allow her to spend some time in Ponyville. After meeting up with Spike and getting settled in, a new villain appears, seeking to cause terror to all of Equestria. With little time to think and the new Tree of Harmony coming under threat, Flurry must find a way to stop this rampaging red beast.

Side notes: Godzilla does not appear in this story. This story is a 'what if' story where Equestria has its own King Ghidorah to deal with.
