Celebrating 100 mini-fics, 23 members of the AppleDash group collaborated on a single story based on a one word prompt, Desire. Each chapter is between 200 and 1500 words long, each written by a different author. Each author had 3 days to write their chapter before the story got passed on to the next author, who continued where the last person left off.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash return home from a day out visiting Rainbow's parents, but something is bothering Applejack: her own parents—or lack thereof. She wishes that Rainbow could have met her parents... but then, why can't she? Tartarus does exist, after all.

Each chapter of the fic went through only minor editing to ensure consistency with names and to correct grammar and spelling. Aside from that, each author was allowed to write in whatever style they chose.

It's a tough time to be a Wonderbolt, Rainbow Dash especially.

After Twilight left to rule Equestria, all her friends minus Applejack have left Ponyville, and now she's lonely and tired of flying. Only Applejack, still based in Ponyville, remains, but how much emotional support can one pony give?

Meanwhile, stormclouds gather on the horizon. A new machine, piloted by a pony desperate to win, threatens to undo the Wonderbolts themselves. With her best flyer wracked with self-doubt, can Spitfire play the situation to her advantage?

After receiving two tickets to Dodge Junction's Founder's Day Festival, Applejack invites Rainbow Dash to join her in what looks to be a great time full of fun, games, rides, food, and more. But hidden behind all this is an opportunity for Applejack to finally tell Dash how she feels about her. Can the farmpony manage to confess between all the excitement?

On a snowy night, Applejack gets a visitor who has a question for her, and something a bit more surprising.

Failed attempt at an AppleDash fic for the Second Chances contest. I simply couldn't make this fic reach 5k words, but I feel it's strong enough to release independently.

Rainbow Dash is a hatnapper!

After Twilight’s coronation, Ponyville was not the same. Rarity became busy with all her shops all across Equestria, Pinkie Pie was much the same, but instead of shops, she managed parties. Fluttershy was constantly busy with her animals and Discord. Rainbow Dash felt like she was drowning, she never had anyone but her pet to come home to, she started to truly feel alone. Applejack began noticing this, and she was determined to do something about it!

During a Wonderbolts exhibition at Mt. Aris, Rainbow Dash accidentally crashes at Sonic Rainboom speeds, nearly killing her. Her recovery is slow and painful, grounding her for months. While land-locked, she learns to appreciate life from the new perspective, as well as the pony caring for her.

At the same time, Applejack watches others form families of their own and starts to wonder if she’ll ever get a special-somepony for herself, or if she’ll end up alone. But she doesn't get any time to ponder that before she's suddenly thrust into a caretaker role for a badly wounded Pegasus...

Rainbow Dash gets an invitation to try out for the Wonderbolts, so it's only fitting that Applejack would agree to watch her practice in preparation for the big day.

But when things don't go according to plan, Applejack realizes that she must take initiative and comfort her downtrodden friend.

Sometimes, when you've lost so much, when everything you do seems to come out wrong, and when you don't feel like anything but a failure, it can seem like there is no other option but to give up.

But when one pony feels so lost, so inconsolable, so forlorn, that she makes a life-changing decision that almost leaves her shattered forever, it is up to her friends to bring her back.

When you lose something that you can't replace, when you love someone but it goes to waste, and when the tears come streaming down your face, is there anyone who you can turn to...

...to fix you?

This is a fanfic interspersed with the lyrics of "Rainy Day Man" from Sailor Moon to show the growing relationship between Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Applejack is the faithful, loyal best friend who is always Rainbow Dash's shoulder, there through thick and thin no matter what. And throughout, the two begin to realize their feelings for one another. This is my first ponyfic, so I hope you enjoy it. :)
