The stars are vanishing from Equestria. It's not so bad.

My entry in the first Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Competition! An experimental story written in just under an hour and totally unedited. Enjoy.

"The stars are GONE!" Twilight declares at an emergency faculty meeting at the School of Friendship. Is it an impending apocalyptic disaster... or is this a classic case of Twilighting? Starlight's got a guess...

WINNER of the 1st "Quills and Sofas" Group Speed-Writing Competition!

Also, may contain some real gripes from a real high-school teacher who knows some academic horse-hockey when he sees it...

In the months following the restoration of magic to the land, Princess Pipp Petals sets her mind to a new task: cataloguing her family tree. In a new era of peace and co-operation, she learns more about her heritage than she ever could have imagined. But one missing piece still remains, one branch left to track down. If her research has led her true, then she'll find it in the most curious of places.

A short writing exercise for myself inspired by a great many thousand-word-limit stories I've seen on this site! Also my first stab at a G5 story, and overall I'm rather pleased with the result.

The past can be a tricky thing. There may be pieces of it that you wish you could erase, or others you desperately want to relive just one more time. In the end, all you can do is move forward.

Because while the past is written in stone, immovable and irreplaceable, the future is being shaped like puddy. And before it dries, you'll have time to leave your mark.

Another super villain appears in Equestria! A former villain that was sealed away by Celestia and her sister, Luna, over a 1000 years ago (again). But now he is free and causing a rampage throughout the world! Now it is up to Twilight and her friends to stop him! But first, Twilight has to give Celestia a piece of her mind by withholding information about ANOTHER sealed away villain that escaped because of moronic reasons. Seriously, this is like what? The sixth one?!

Started Writing this in early 2017 but never finished due to reasons, so it takes place before season 7.

In a crisp, clean, white office, important business is carried out. Crucial, some might say, depending on how they prioritise things. But even in a fantastical place such as this, there are limits. Budgetary limits, for example. So when a new starter wanders outside the lines a bit, they need to be set straight. There are rules, after all. The last thing anypony wants is to have to get Equine Resources involved.

Lucid Storm imagines a world beyond death, where no pony will ever need to truly say goodbye to the ones they love. When all the magic and medicine of Equestria failed one young Sweetie Belle, he proposed a radical new technique--total brain recording, taken minutes before her death.

Years have passed since that day, years spent scrounging the funding for a body and experimenting with many failed machine intelligence models before tinkerer ponies all around equestria finally came together in the perfect synthesis.

After all this time, Sweetie Belle will finally have her second chance.

Based on the series, Loki, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe

The Time Variance Authority (TVA) is a organization that controls all of time and space into a single timeline, the Sacred Timeline.

Twilight meeting her friends, becoming an alicorn: all of this was supposed to happen.

Lyra meeting Twilight on the thousandth Sun Celebration? Not supposed to happen!

Those who do what they are not supposed to do would have their branching timeline erased and themselves "pruned", or also erased.
