Twilight Sparkle regrets a lot of decisions. Not spending more time with her family. Wasting away in a library rather than being out making friends, among other things. But when she can she attempts to make right what she feels she has done wrong.

And an opportunity to do that has presented itself.

When her friends return from Manehatten having encountered a former enemy, Twilight sets off in search of somepony Great and Powerful, to do what she feels she should have done a long time ago.

Sometimes though, the damage done can't be repaired, mistakes aren't forgiven, and the opportunity passes by.

Takes place after Season 4.

Whilst Magic Duel ended better than I thought it would (thank Celestia Trixie was not turned into a full-time villain), I felt that the ending was lacking two things:

1) Twilight knew that Trixie was having rough times, but did not offer a friendly hoof towards Trixie. Isn't Twilight supposed to be learning the wonderous magic of friendship?

2) No Pinkie party for Trixie? Yes, Pinkie seemed a little more aggressive towards Trixie than she usually is, but she offered Gilda a party, so why not Trixie?

Granted the ep only had 22 minutes to fill, but still... So, yeah, this is sort of an extended ending dealy for Magic Duel. I may also make some new Trixie stories using this a base, after some of my current stories are done.

Hearthswarming, the time of year when ponies all about Equestria come together, both family and friends, to kindle the love in their hearts and share gifts that speak more volume than words. By now, most were in their homes, or in the guest rooms of far away relatives, staying comfy and warm while the outside billowed and snowed, blanketing the landscape with a layer of white which twinkled under Luna’s bright moon.

However, not all ponies knew better, and for three close friends and lovers, this Hearthswarming Eve would prove to be a challenging night.

This was written for AndwhatIseeisme, for JingleMas 2020! They requested Starlight and Trixie shipping, and naturally I had to stalk them to see what they read and wrote. Once I caught my breath and put my pants back on, I noticed their love for a three way shipping of StarTrixBurst, so I rolled the dice and took the gamble and included him too. I hope you enjoy it!

However, the signs were there. She had feelings for Sunburst. Unfortunately, no matter how much she had grown as a pony since learning friendship, Starlight could never act on her feelings for her foalhood friend.

So, Starlight's Great and Powerful best friend, Trixie, decided to step in. She WILL have Starlight confess to Sunburst, even if there was more to her unusual insistence than it seemed.

This story was requested by superfun, and it is a special 2-year Fimfiction anniversary story to celebrate me being a writer on the site for 2 years.

MART trips are hard to handles, even for a Princess of Friendship. But considering it's for the sake of her student Starlight? She'll happily put up with problems Great and Powerful to see this visit through.

Working at the friendship school as student counselor has kept Starlight away from spending time with Trixie. Trixie was upset. Her father, Jack Pot is going to marry his stage partner, Big Bucks. In all those visits that Trixie had made since she had moved out, she had never once heard anything about this. Not just that her dad was dating, but was going to marry a stallion. However, on top of all of that, she found out through a newspaper that he was getting married soon. So Trixie took it upon herself to go to Las Pegasus to get some answers.

So of course, she goes to find the Ursa minor she once struck with a lightning bolt to apologise to it.

To show Twilight just how much she has changed after all this time, and how friendship can change a pony.

This fic takes the form of a letter written to Twilight from the perspective of Trixie.
