  • CCC: cleverpun's Critique Corner 40 stories "Here's my latest report. I think you'll find it is quite excellent. I even collated it myself." I have critiqued/reviewed all the stories in this shelf. Find the index here: http://tinyurl.com/h3ftsm3

  • Lengthy Comments 37 stories "Omigosh, let me tell you about this story I just read!" I wrote a longer comment on this story in place of a review. Chances are I didn't finish it or didn't have enough to say, and thus it didn't qualify for CCC. Or perhaps I read it before I started doing review blogs.

  • cleverpun's Description/Title Reviews 13 stories "Are you sure that's supposed to be there?" I have reviewed the descriptions/titles of all the stories in this bookshelf. Find the index here: http://tinyurl.com/h3ftsm3

  • cleverpun's Concise Critiques 22 stories All these stories have been reviewed in two sentences or less. Find the index here: http://tinyurl.com/h3ftsm3

  • Favorites 56 stories - 1 unread chapters "Oh man, this is so awesome! It's almost as good as Daring Do and the Shattered Sarcophogus' third printing!" Stories worth recommending.

  • Stories I Have Edited/Preread For 9 stories "Honestly, I think your characterization needs work. I liked the scene with the books, though." Stories I helped preread/edit for. Several of them I only edited parts of, others I edited in their entirety. Whether my input improved the final product is another matter.

  • Stories I Wrote Which Are Bad 9 stories "Honestly, dear, I know we all have our little lapses in judgement, but... What WERE you thinking?" Stories I wrote which are not very good. They might have one or two redeeming qualities, but I strongly recommend NOT reading them. Please read one of my other, better fics instead.

  • Pending Requested Review 0 stories "OMIGOSH Rainbow Dash you are so cool please pay attention to me look I wrote a story!" Requested for review. Higher priority than standard RIL. Check this blog to make your own requests: http://www.fimfiction.net/blog/590650/taking-review-requests

  • Tracking 2 stories - 0 unread chapters "Uhm, it looks like it might be nice? I mean, not that it looks bad! I didn't mean... Sorry, please don't be mad." Intriguing, but not favoriting quite yet.

  • Read Later? 474 stories "Eh, I'll do it later, I'm right in the middle of this thing right now." Stories which may or may not get read, at some time which may or may not be late.

The elders tell of times long past, when throughout the plains, hyenas massed.
Yet they were not as we are now; naught but beasts they were, strong, fierce, and fast.
And they acted as befits a beast—procreation, slaughter, feast—
Till a Monster came, we know not how. Through Him, lowliness soon ceased.

A poem, with a short scene framing it. Entry for the World-Building Alliance's January writing contest, where it earned an honorable mention.

I, The Great and Powerful Trixie, have been reduced to performing magic tricks in a Trottingham tavern. One would think I'd never sink this low, but it's not as bad as it could be. The food is good, the beds are soft, and the company plentiful. The only problem? I'm stuck here until I earn enough bits to buy another caravan so I can get back on the road where I belong.

So imagine my delight when one evening, a conpony walks through the door and starts cheating at cards. It was a golden opportunity: a chance to line my purse, play the heroine, and teach an amateur magician a thing or two about misdirection.

I had a perfect plan. My only mistake was getting a friend involved.

Maybe that glance lasted just a little too long, or maybe a certain conversation could be interpreted as innuendo. Whatever it is, sometimes we see only what we want to see, and sometimes our fantasies get the best of us. Rarity is no exception.
