All mothers love their children, and all mothers feed their children. Princess Chrysalis and her mother are no different, except that to a changeling, "love" and "food" are the same thing.

Well... mostly.

This was the "Usurper Chrysalis" story in FOME's Imposing Sovereigns Contest.

Applejack helps run her family's successful apple orchard, while Dusty is the Cadet Colonel of Canterlot High's Junior ROTC. For the last few years, they had been a item, with many students looking on with amazement and wonder at the seemingly “perfect, All-Equestrian couple.”

But one day their lives are turned upside down when Applejack begins showing symptoms of being pregnant. The pregnancy test will be one hundred percent accurate a week after ‘conception’, which is only a few days away. With the clock counting down, Dusty and Applejack are left with a question: Do they spend their possible last few days of their youth in loathing and fear or do they spend it with the people they care about the most: each other?

My attempt at a Random one-shot. I'm not sure if I can make anything silly and inconsequential.

Sunset doesn't know what she expected from the snap decision to go back to the town where she was born. It certainly wasn't this.

People left and right knowing her name.

Somebody pretending to be somebody pretending to be her.

The apparent existence of a world of magic and unicorns.

And in the middle of everything, a girl who looks like her, sounds like her, and has stirred up a whole mess of trouble and drama just waiting for anyone who happens to be named "Sunset Shimmer".

This is an Anon-a-Miss story, which means that it takes the 2014 comic My Little Pony: Equestria Girls Holiday Special as it's jumping off point. As is generally the case, if I write this properly it should be self-contained and thus completely accessible to people who have never read laid eyes on the comic.

The idea behind this story is that the point of divergence from the comic is human-Sunset's arrival, and that is the whole of what has changed from the original premise. As a result you won't see many of the the things that have become common in the genre as a result of the influence of Dainn's version (the sirens showing up, things escalating severely, Gilda, so forth.)

The changelings have been leaderless for a while now.
Ever since "The Incident" they've been by themselves without any guidance.
They've tried finding others, but somehow, some way, the leaders they've found have either been imprisoned, reformed, or worse...

Luckily, after over a year of searching, they've found someone who can help.
Someone who almost won a battle against their worst enemy.
Someone who could lead even better than their queen.
Someone who just needed the right amount of subjects to make her plans a reality.

Because the changelings know that Starlight isn't reformed and still wants revenge...right?

In one world, Thanos snaps his fingers. In another, his intent to balance is spread far and wide. Sunset Shimmer and her friends, unaware of the terrible battle, are faced with the effects.

After failing the rodeo, Applejack goes to work with Cherry Jubilee for a while. However, something just doesn't work with her... Family, friends, the town itself, she can't get them out of her head. And she can't focus as long as their there. So after an offhanded remark from her, Cherry offers an interesting solution...Dodge Junction's local therapist, Doctor Tera Ipnosi.

Just a little plot bunny that wouldn't go away, weird way to practice OC writing I know, but I'm glad I got this one out.

Chrysalis had come a long way from absolutely nothing - a humbled bug-horse left to fend for herself in the howling wilderness. But she's not the pony changeling she used to be, and she's set her hoof upon the path of conquest, for herself, for her crown, and for her children minions.

All she had to do was seize the commanding heights of the pony principalities, and feed her brood upon that endless supply of pony happiness which was her birthright, by all that was villainous!

When Twilight and Spike meet the sad and real Pinkie Pie at the table outside, Spike makes a test based on his memories of 'Party of One'. Pinkie Pie passes the test at that time, and this results a completely different outcome for the whole story.
