Twilight's caught a special type of flu, and it's up to none other than Princess Celestia to nurse her through it. A special, tender little moment follows in this most unexpected of circumstances.

Celestia has been the Princess of Equestria for longer then she can remember, and hasn't really had much time to herself. Maybe that's the reason for these feelings. Stress, just stress. She certainly can't actually - No, that would be too ridiculous.

Of course, ridiculous things can happen.

Octavia has had enough. Enough of the selfishness, enough of the hurt, and...maybe enough of Vinyl Scratch. After telling her she was going to miss her concert, again, the earth pony calls their friendship off. Now, it's up to DJ Pon3 to let her best friend go or fight tooth and hoof for their friendship. But with everything getting in her way, will she be able to make it? Or is one of them going to need a new place to call home?

After realising her dream was not playing in the Canterlot elite Octavia moves back to Manehattan. Though how will Vinyl react when her former best friend in the world comes back after not having spoken in five years? Will their relationship ever be the same, or have they both changed?

A/N After I had to cancel my old VinylxTavi fic I decided that I would start a new one. There's really no similarities from the last fic to this so don't fret if you have not/have read it. Now I'll have to give a huge shoutout to NotTheOP for editing my story once more. That guy is my savior!

Now she’s on the run from an insane loan shark that has too many spare thugs and a lot of cash to throw away. This is a sequel to my other story, A Tale of Two Mares. Read that one first.
Anyhow, Vinyl Scratch and her trusty new wife Octavia are living in San Franciscolt, trying to make a decent living, raise a foal (or two), and not drive each other the neighbors crazy.
Some old favourites, and some ponies that are notorious for being awful, will come to make their lives a little easier(?) and some new ponies as well, for better or for worse.

Oh my Celestia, I just made that sound like the most boring story ever. You'll just have to read the first one.
