When something terrible happens to Gummy on the rockfarm, Pinkie Pie just wasn't the same. It's up to her dull older sister, Maud to help her get up on her hooves. Will this unenthusiastic mare be able to put a smile on her sister's face?

Pinkie decides to prank Sombra on April Fools just to poke some fun at him, but her plan backfires when his reaction isn't what she thought it'd be.

Pinkie Pie's been a little less slap-happy than normal lately, due in no small part to the fact that her best friend in the whole wide world of Equestria—Rainbow Dash, of course—is nowhere to be found! After another one of her nightmares, she loses faith in herself, and her friends find themselves in a difficult situation. Old rivalries will be rekindled, things long lost may finally be found, but will Pinkie ever find her way back from her lowest point?

Mr.Sombra never thought that he'd get into a situation like this. After being transferred from Crystal Empire Academy to Canterlot High School, he figured his life would be the same, more or less.

Of course, when a pink haired student with the intention to make him feel welcome introduces herself, "same' is the furthest thing his life has become. Now he must fight his ever-growing feelings for her and contain his urge to act on them. And it was supposed to be over for him when she graduated that year.

But, what's he going to do when she drops in for a visit to bid him farewell?

If one would ask Pinkie on her work as a detective back on the train, she would say she had (in her words) a million, billion, gajillion years of experience, tracking down every sneaky pony down that did-done-dood it! But even the greatest detectives have humble beginnings, so where does hers start?

It started a long, long time ago, in a small rock farm, where Pinkie Pie was the lowly assistant to the greatest detective of all time.

Her sister, Maud Pie.

Saying that there was nothing except rocks on the rock farm wasn't exactly true. Saying there was no talking and no smiling is absolutely wrong.
