Twilight has been playing with time again but this time Rainbow interferes and the spell goes horribly wrong. Alone in a world without time the two of the time embark on a journey to undo what's been done. Their own time continues to move on, and, as all time, it is fleeting and precious.

The day that Chaos rose up and attacked was the worst day of Twilight Sparkle's new life. Not because she failed to stop him, but because a stranger did what she could not. A creature never before seen in Equestria stood by Celestia’s side, and together, they stopped Chaos. Now Equestria is left to rebuild, and to wonder, who really was their savior? Where did he come from, and why did he fight? Celestia and Twilight are the two with the most questions and the most scars. They both know that their scars might never heal, and they will never have the answers they want, but maybe together they can find the strength to move forward.

John is alone on this world and has not seen a single soul in a long time. His only companions have been the ghosts only he can hear. Driven by guilt, he goes from town to town, searching and doing the only thing he can do:

Give the dead their final rest.

Discord once gave him a gift. It was given in grief. John has yet to understand what this gift means. He has lost track of time and madness and sanity wage a constant war in his mind.

For John, the greatest terror in his heart is facing the Goddesses.

He's about to meet one of them.

Rainbow Dash was the Iron Wing. She was a war hero, the Slayer of Shadows, the Liberator of the Crystal Empire, the Wrath of Celestia. And depending on who you ask, she still is.

But the war is over. There's little need for a pony like her in peacetime. So she keeps telling herself that she needs to adjust, that she needs to find a new role to fill in the world that she saved. But Equestria seems content to let her remain what she has become, even though they have no need of a warrior.

"This isn't how it's supposed to be", is something she keeps telling herself. But every time she says it, the only thing she can reply is, "so what should it be?"

One whole year after the close of the war, and Rainbow Dash still doesn't have the answer.

Rainbow Dash is gone.
Two Years ago she performed a trick to eclipse all others, and vanished without a trace. Everypony has started to get over it, although for five ponies the loss is to great even now. In respect the Wonderbolts do a performance for her at the site of her death. However, a certain Cyan mare is hard to kill, and is loyal to the ends of the universe, she can say that with certainty now, she’s been, and now she’s back. But what is she wearing, and where did she go for two years? Buckle up, for in Equestria there may be peace, but in the 41st Millennium, there is only war.

Ever thought about what it would mean, being stuck in Equestria? I mean, REALLY thought about it? I thought I had, but hypothetical imaginings for one's entertainment are a far cry from the real thing. Don't get me wrong, this place is even better than I thought it would be, monthly world-threatening incidents notwithstanding, but I miss my home. I miss my family. I've built a pretty great life for myself over the past year, but ever since I flashed into existence here, I've held on to the hope that one day I'd be able to return to the loved ones I left behind. Or at least I did, right up until a few days ago.
They've been trying for nearly ten months to refine the spell that can send me home into something a bit less. . . lethal. Now they're telling me they've done all they can. I can try, but I could end up anywhere on Earth, going any direction at any speed. In other words, the odds that I'll survive the trip home are pretty much non-existent.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
Well, there's only thing I can think of. I may not be able to make it back, but if I send enough of them, maybe a message can, and if I can't see my family again, maybe I can at least say goodbye. . .

But what a wonderful day!
Luna, Princess of the night and the moon has reached the age of maturity.
She is now a beautiful princess.
And such a beautiful princess like her deserves a man worthy of her stature.
Candidates all over the world had come for her hand, offering luxurious gifts, each one surpassing the other.
Mountains of Silver, Mountains of Gold, Jewels, exotic pets, lands, castles, armies and much more.
But it wasn’t enough.
Rejected.
One by one the candidates had been being rejected.
Then what could be considered enough to satisfy her?
What the requirements are for be considered worthy before her eyes?
Despite this; one young man came as another candidate but unlike the rest he is not a noble much less a man who possess wealth, what worth could he have?
He is only a plebeian, a mere commoner.

Many of them don't respect her or even listen to what she says and a few have even chosen to remove her from power, whether through political machination or assassination. This newest assassin though, he is different and the longer he stays and the more he tries to end Luna the more Luna discovers about him. For the assassin Luna presents something to him he has never encountered before and it causes something in him to change the more times he tries.
