Irma passed through largely uneventfully, though did scare the piss outta some in the beach condos (BWAHAHAHAHA) with multiple waterspouts a.k.a hydro-nados (BWAHAHAHAHA) and chucked an empty mobile home into a timeshare (B̶̨͇̳͕̯̻̫̫̠̳̟͍͉̫̀̀͡W̴͢҉̨̡͚͙̙̘̼͉͉͕͙̥A̷̷͞҉͇̬̜͕Ḩ͚̬̳ͅĄ̱͇̤͙̥̀͠H̵͚̜̪̟͕͔͇͉͖̫͇͚̯̱̞̦͚̀͟͜ͅA̕͢͏̧̛̦̳͖͈͙̱̙͉̳̮̙̥͉̩̙ͅḨ̟̤͖́͘͜Ą͏̱̩̥̲̗̱͈̥͇̣͚Ḩ̬̦͔̫̖̯̞̘͚̻͉̞̣̜͢͜A̢͎̙͕̜̟̱̗̦̜͍̬̭͜͡). We got a fence knocked over and there is currently a manatee munching on the top of one of our fallen banana trees.
So, all and all I'll be fine. Just an annoyance the power's out. Currently, I'm typing this using my phone as a mobile hotspot while sitting on my dock. Irma's tailwinds give some lovely breezes so it's cooler out here than inside.
Thanks to all you lovely guys and gals for your hopes and prayers. Irma was destructive but could have been far worse and thankfully loss of life has been very low. I'm using some of this time between clean up and repairs to write up some more so I hope to give ya'll some gifts soon enough. Probably going to do a movie night soon as my power is back. Who's up for some Creature Features?

I'm here sitting in this 90-100 something hell. Funny how different weather can be in the US.
On one side, the pavement can burn through your soles. On the other, there's a friggin' hurricane.

Hell, you had it better than me. I had to deal w/ Sandy and it was not pleasant at all, I had to live w/ my grandparents back then b/c of the flooding.
