A lot of people opening this program on their PC woke up to this message on a big white screen reading

Apparently it's a goof on Discord's part. Consulting this website, Discord is experiencing a lot of API issues meaning something is up with their servers. I got a lot of friends who use Discord extensively to keep track of things and converse, so I'm hoping they find their way back after this ends. Mobile apparently works fine for some people.
I've heard it was caused by a an attack of some kind after Cloudflare paused for maintenance. Jury's out on that though.
It's a very odd sort of outage. My PC and laptop won't connect, either in direct mode or through any of my usual VPN options. On the other hoof, my Android phone app hops right in, no problem. Makes me think that the problem probably is in the Cloudflare interface somewhere, too.
I had the exact same problem earlier today. But then it started working again. Maybe it could change when I get back from work.
Thank you for spreading the word elsewhere. Seems to have stabilized for me by now.

I've been hearing it has more to do with Cloudflare than Discord itself.
Yeah I had this happen too.
