As Louder Yay's Ponyfic Roundup (PR) has reached its 140th edition, it's time for another summary of my fanfic reviews to be posted here. As always, these will consist of three things: first, a subheading with the number (and name, if any) of the PR in question, linked to the relevant edition on Louder Yay; second, a list of stories (linked to their Fimfiction page); and third, their star rating from one to five. Not the full text teviews, though: you'll have to go to Louder Yay to read those!
In this set of reviews, I give some deserved love to Best Filly by awarding her an edition of her very own. Other stories reviewed in this batch include out.of.character., The Keepers of Discord and Bitter-Sweetie. One story I haven't mentioned by name here gets my only five-star rating this time around. I'll end with another reminder that Mature-rated stories link to the author rather than the story itself; this is done in order to comply with Fimfiction rules.

4379669 In which direction? Do you like it more than I do, or less? Always interesting to hear such things! I liked the story a fair bit (three stars on my scale means good, not average) but felt there were a couple of things that stopped it quite being a classic.
4379995 Not for what I'm doing, you can't. The rules state that: "You may link to Mature-rated stories hosted on Fimfiction in a blogpost only if the blog is tagged with a Mature-rated story." So if I wrote an M-rated fic of my own, made a post about it and tagged it in the post, that would be allowed. But you can't link directly to untagged M-rated stories, so I don't.

I liked it more than it seems you did.
I did not find Discord out of character like you did. And I found the second chapter a rather necessary ending. The epilogue, however, I can agree with you on.
4380159 I didn't find Discord's characterisation bad as such, just not quite as spot-on as I'd expect from a very good writer like Hoopy McGee. The second chapter? That's just personal preference, I think. Anyway, thanks! Interesting.
