I love his work so much, I have a box specifically dedicated to it. 1: Background Pony - This is what introduced me to his work, and also long-ass chapters. It's a beautifully crafted tale of a cursed Lyra, and I loved every chapter. It can be very depressing though. 2: The End of Ponies - I was hesitant to read this, due to the presence of the Gore tag and the extreme length, but I don't regret it for a moment. I felt practically every emotion along the spectrum while reading, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next story arc. 3: Austraeoh - I was really skeptical about this one at first. Generic picture, uninteresting description, and 200 chapters, each usually 1000 words or less. It seemed like a recipe for disaster, but it was recommended to me, so I read it. I became more interested as I got further in. There was just a huge mystery to what was going on, and I couldn't stop reading. I was crushed when I read the ending and there was no more story, but then I found out about Eljunbyro... 4: Eljunbyro - This story, despite starting out with an OC (which I normally dislike), continued the tale of Austraeoh. To say more would be a spoiler, and we can't have that, can we? When this eventually ended at 200 chapters, another sprouted up... 5: Innavedr - This is the third entry in Imploding Colon's masterpiece, and I love every minute of it. The best part? It updates daily.

These are some of the best completed fics I've read, not including anything by Short Skirts & Explosions. 1: The Three Sisters - This is a fic that explores the situation of Rarity being a changeling, and how it affects her friends and family. It's a little dark, but well written, and the author has released continuations of the story that are just as good. 2: A Sweet Taste of Cake - This story explores how Mr. and Mrs. Cake got together, and is a touching tale of just how far Mr. Cake will go to be with his love. The author is amazing with every story he writes, but this is my favourite. 3: Who We Are - This is a fic about one of the mane six being a changeling, and them dealing with the suspicion that came about after the wedding. It's very well written and open ended. I know that the whole "Mane Six member is a changeling" thing is played out, but this was one of the first to do it well.

Four of my favorite stories that are still updating. 1) The Serenade of Silver Belles is a story that focuses on Silver Spoon rejecting Diamond Tiara as a friend and joining the Cutie Mark Crusaders. It's a decent story, and I really enjoy the Silver Spoon x Sweetie Belle ship. 2) Eljunbyro is the sequel to Austraeoh, and it's written fairly similarly. A bunch of questions left unanswered in Austraeoh are answered here, with even more being raised. Overall, it's interesting, makes you actually care about OCs, and there's at least 1 new chapter each day. 3) The Life and Times of a Winning Pony explores a universe where Cloud Kicker is extremely promiscuous, and features her relationships with others. Despite the premise, it's not clop, and has actually spawned a bunch of side stories by other authors. Check it out if you want shipping and comedy with drama mixed in. 4) Twilight takes Sweetie Belle 350 years in the future to cure her heart problems, and they need to find a way back. Interesting slice of life that examines an Equestria different from the one we know.
